Explain how denuclearization differs from normalisation. It's a marketing deal no more no less. N. Korea was never the boogeyman, now US taxpayers will have to pay them to do something they may or may not do. I wonder who on the Bush payroll and family will benefit from this? It's not going to be the US taxpayers.
Actually I don't think any sort of action needed to be taken. We should stop and think before we label countries as boogeymen. It always seems to cost the taxpayer one way or another.
This will go a long way in unifying Korea as a single country. Those poor people in the north have gone through enough. x
Actually Pepik, all this hooplah, and nothing has really changed, except the American taxpayers will probably have to send money to North Korea. And remember we didn't win the Korean conflict anymore than we did Vietnam.
If that were true there would be no difference between life in South Korea and North Korea. However, as it happens life in North Korea means mass starvation and tyranny whereas South Korea is a prosperous democracy.
