On Tuesday, North Korea said it planned to scrap the armistice that stopped the Korean War in 1953 and warned it could carry out strikes against the United States and South Korea.

The U.N. Security Council unanimously passed tougher sanctions against North Korea Thursday targeting the secretive nation's nuclear program hours after Pyongyang threatened a possible "preemptive nuclear attack."

A spokesman for the North Korean foreign ministry suggested the United States "is set to light a fuse for a nuclear war."

As a result, North Korea "will exercise the right to a preemptive nuclear attack to destroy the strongholds of the aggressors and to defend the supreme interests of the country," the country said in a statement carried by the state-run Korean Central News Agency.

And while a nuclear attack itself is not an immediate palpable threat, "This surge in provocative rhetoric is particularly dangerous," added Michael Auslin.

They have dog farms, and eat dogs.

The stench is horrific I hear. Anyways China will make sure they don't do shit. If the US gets nuked off the globe half of their work force would be unemployed because no one else would buy their cheap crap.

Hey, the Lewis and Clark expedition ate 200+ dogs on their way out west...do as the natives ya know? ;)

On topic, I'm with you, China's gonna reel 'em back...
IMHO no foreign leader is stupid enough to actually use nukes anyway...

i think you're right on that one

it would be way easier for them to just brainwash the nuke control people into thinking they were doing some good deeds for their god...maybe even promise them virgins to rape in heaven.

They have a novel way of executing people, they use mortars to drop bombs on them, i think that'll do the job and give their army units valuable mortar practice....All in all the North Koreans are totally nuts....

Napoleon was of average height and had massive influence. The short thing was a smear campaign by enemy cartoonists. Also, people aren't small dogs.

I agree with all the stuff about North Korea - I just know a lot of small people that aren't douches, and get annoyed by propaganda being regarded as fact, when that's part of what North Korea's problem is in the first place. It believes it's own bullshit.

I think they are the one country crazy enough to start a Nuclear War, even if it means destroying themselves in the process, because they're too stupid to know otherwise. On the one hand I don't take them terribly seriously, but on the other, I'd keep an eye on them.

Don't forget, the US still has many thousands of troops there. If attacked, they will defend themselves.

When a dog goes mad with rabies, the worst place to be is holding its leash. ;)

Maybe a good idea. If NK fires a missile at the US, it might just end up in the UK, or almost anywhere else.

ha. Their missiles could theoretically barely, and I stress barely, reach the west coast. And that assumes the missile works as it should.

If it went the wrong way, couldn't it reach London from the opposite direction? :D

I don't have a lot of confidence in their technology. Probably, the safest place to be is wherever they are aiming at. ;)
