not all cops are dicks

awhile ago i was walking with my friend down my alley smoking a joint, and we hear, "can i take a hit?" and we turn around and there's two cops on bikes smiling at us. we were thinking, "maaaaan.." but nothing ended up happening. he wrote our names down on his little notepad and was like, "yeah, i'm just writing your names down because we can't just find you smoking pot and not do anything about it. that's our job, you know. just put it out and continue going where you're going and next time smoke in your own home." we didn't get a ticket or anything. i was pretty stoked, especially because after we put it out we just kept the rest of it for later.

 

^thats freakin sweet. ive had run ins wit cool security guards but nvr cops.

 

Yeah security guards, especially mall ones, seem to be pretty chill.

 

I was once searched by some rookie cop while some obviously more senior officer was talking to my friend about him speeding. Well the rookie pats me down, feels, a bag, lighter and papers. Then he stands up winks at me and walks over pretending he found nothing!

We got off with just a speeding ticket! Though I know I shouldn't have let him search me. But I didn't know that then.

 

If you smoke in public or in a car, you're liable to get caught, like he said: smoke in your house.

 

Those 2 cops did you a huge favor (Altho i see ur in Cali.. hehe ) and i'd take their advice, keep it at home.

Getting your name wrote down in a notebook..thats a hell of a punishment.

That cop was pretty cool. (And I rarely say that. Actualy I think it may be the first time I ever said it.)

 

hhm, you know the whole hot chick theory never occurred to me! but i know plenty of people that get away with having bud. the most they do for small amounts of weed are give you a ticket, and that's if they wanna be dicks. cops don't really care about weed here, probably because they're focusing on meth. i don't think they wanna waste time busting someone for smoking weed when there's tweakers running around everywhere. but i thought the whole situation was pretty funny.

ye i agree one time we were smoking in an alley and walked out and we saw a cop and he stopped us after we walked down the street a little bit none of us had anything on us but probly smelled, are eyes were real red and when he went back in the alley to look for stuff he found my roach on the ground so he comes back and is like so should i take you in and call your parents and rewin your holiday(it was the night before thanksgiving) and he was like no i wont get out of here i dont wana see you agian tonight. we were so happy the cop was cool as shit for letting us go but he did take our names and stuff
