I want only what the sky does not remember
    about the sea
it's been so long since the horizon
found you practicing the dance of sailors,
    the coffin of ships
    and lighthouses everlasting
and still the water shrank back into
    it's own blue belly
    fearing the thunder's dark verses.

    because without lights
one secret desires more your secret
    but nothing ever was listening,
not even the feathers I painted white and stacked together
beside the park while you were spinning(only
for your stare of angels like foggy streets)
yes and as i remember there were two
    laughing
starving for rain on a black planet,
lifting their hats to the moon.

    and can ya dig that?

what if the ocean desires more than your feet
or the shadow of your legs
    where will you lead it?
a memory of what was not known,
    the terrible children,
    our bloods fragile music.
