ok well we have 4 plants all together, we harvested 3 because they were ready and one looks like it needs an extra week or so. so the buds have been drying in paper bags for like 5 days maybe and i am just wondering when to start curing. i mean should the weed like look like the same dryness as when im buying a sack or is it going to be different because its not cured?

also i have dried the clippings and they are in the freezer so i can make hash, i was wondering if they are cool to be in there until i harvest the last plant?

and lastly i live in an apartment and i was wondering if anyone has been able or has any tips on starting a compost pile in an apartment complex. like does the compost need to be on the ground or can i have it in a box? does it matter if bugs cannot get to the compost?

if someone can answer any of these questions, id greatly appreciate it

    1) When the stem makes a little **snap** when bent the buds are ready for curing. Don't go by looks as bagged weed has been abused a bit (crushed, stuffed in pockets...).

    2) Your trim can stay in the freezer until you are ready (even years). :)

    3) Forget the compost for now - the pain in the ass factor. When you get your own place you can build a nice compost bin outside or in the basement. But in theory you can compost in a large tupperware bin, microbiological action will handle the decomposition.
