so i had some tonight for the first time and they were delicious. i had them in macaroni and chreese. i also bought some in bulk...and i have one question, the label said just yeast flakes...is it the same as nutritional yeast flakes??
Probably, but when purchasing nutritional yeast in bulk, you should really ask to see the bulk label if it isn't provided with the food. Some brands aren't as good as others in terms of B12 content.
i know this is kinda off topic, but anyone remember the yeast guy from CO Rainbow Nationals? y-eeeeaaaa-st, get-cha yeast!
wtf??..yes they r..read ingredients sweetie, they most certainaly are too vegan...and i checjked with the store yes they are nutritional yeast flakes....and i know the difference between using yeast for bread baking
the red star veg support is vegan, and used exclusively in Joane Stepanik's cook books. Shania,. why do you say it isn't?
nutritional yeast is grown on whey mold. there is a brand that is vegan but i would check because the brand that is called nutritional yeast is not
odd....i have have found nothing that contains information stating nutritional yeast flakes are grown on whey mold....thats not true....it in fact from what ive read is a vegan b12 supplement for people who r vegan.
