ACORN is a grassroots organization. I love grassroots organizations. What is the problem?

The problem is that in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 employees of ACORN have been indicted and prosecuted for Voter Registration fraud.

The next problem is that Obama donated $800,000 to a company called Citizen's Services Inc., a front company for ACORN.
    http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/news/election/s_584284.html

The next problem is that ACORN officially endorses Barack Obama for President. (Well I guess it's not a problem if you are an Obama supporter:))
    https://www.acorn.org/index.php?id=...1759&tx_ttnews[backPid]=8538&cHash=ff99d11068

Some people would call this a "conflict of interest".

Look what just popped up in the headlines today. Looks like somebody's office got raided. Can you guess who? ACORN!!!
    http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/07/acorn-vegas-office-raided-voter-fraud-investigation/

And another think for those who would discredit the story because of the source, Faux News.

    http://www.lvrj.com/news/breaking_news/30571984.html

So to summarize this post, you ask "What is the problem?"

Simply put, you have an organization that is notorious for voter registration fraud, that officially endorses a candidate who has given them nearly 1 million dollars. You don't see a problem with this? After 8 years of the Bush Administration, I thought we were trying to get corruption out of the White House and keep it out?

you won't get corruption out of the white house by voting for obama, or mccaine

you need an ocean, or a volcano.

What is interesting is that mainstream media does not seem to be making much mention of this. It is obvious there is enough of a concern that the Federal government is taking action. Who says there is a liberal bias in the media ;)

ACORN looks like they're stealing Karl Rove's ideas. He should be pissed.

When ACORN hijacks an entire election like the ROVE machine stole Florida and Ohio, I'll worry about them.

The mainstream media is too busy to cover this ACORN stuff. It has too many Palin rallies to cover, where people in the audience are yelling "KILL HIM" about Obama.

Maybe after Obama is sworn in they will have more time to dig into the candidate for "change".

    Can't help but mention this.

In three years that Obama served on the Woods Fund, ACORN recieved $190,000.

Another man that Obama served on the Woods Fund with was William Ayers (Weathermen terrorist).

One of the recipients of donations while Obama and Ayers served on the Woods Fund was Reverend Jeremiah Wright's Trinity United Church. Rev. Wright as we know is the radical known for his hate filled, racist, anti-American sermons.

Another recipient of donations while Obama and Ayers served on the Woods Fund was the Children and Family Justice Center, in which Bernedine Dohrn was director. Bernedine Dohrn is Ayers wife and another Weathermen terrorist.

Is it just me, or does this seem like an interesting connection?

During the time that Barack Obama and Weathermen terrorist Ayers were serving on the Woods Fund, money was donated to ACORN, an organization known for voter fraud who currently endorses Obama for President, along with donations to Rev. Wright and Ayers wife who is also a Weathermen terrorist.

I swear, you couldn't make this shit up!

    Some quotes.

Great work Wacky. I amend my statement that "I love grassroots organizations" to "I love grassroots organizations that operate legally."

Haha. Well ACORN has only been prosecuted for Voter Registration Fraud in 14 out of 50 states so far. We'll see what happens in Nevada.

I was waiting for that. So you don't feel the American people should put their foot down and stop corruption? If Republicans did it, then Democrats can too. If Democrats did it, then Republicans can too. Ignorant attitude in my opinion.

More like a "that's how it will always be attitude."

That is until the government makes people mad enough in about 200 years to do something.

Yeah, the republicans are getting out of control, these are the same nut jobs who are going to try and assassinate him. And all McCain can say is 'I don't condone it', what a fucking joke.

I'm a realist. I don't see anyone changing it anytime soon.

    Do you?

I think the issue is less about Obama and more about ACORN's illiegal activities.

I'm not an admirer of Obama but I don't see that he has much involvement in the ACORN scandal.
