Obama's "change"

So what exactly was this "change" we were all expecting? I guess we must've meant change in the rights we have... I don't remember people screaming "We've got too many rights! we need Change!".. Obviously that's what this blood thirsty dictator meant..

What am I talking about? Well for starters lets talk about something that surprisingly didn't make any news on HipForums.. the assassination of Anwar al-Awlaki.. an American born Al-Qaeda "leader".. That was never convicted or even charged with a crime was murdered last Friday by a US drone in Yemen. What happened here is completely unconstitutional and an outright MURDER. He should have been charged and tried. Where does this leave any other united states citizen? Means that at any time anyone whom is against the US but US born can be murdered by the government with not even the slightest try of a charge or conviction of a crime. your freedoms mean NOTHING to the Obama administration!

I'll continue with that last like "Your Freedoms Mean Nothing". Now comes this fucking craptastic "Obama-Care" Where any citizen of the US will be FORCED to sign up with a healthcare provider... You may not think this is bad.. maybe you do.. but once you are forced to join this "healthcare".. It'll only be a matter of moments before you will be told to take this and you need this shot and if you don't get them there will be repercussions. Who knows.. maybe they'll send a drone to pick you off for not getting your "flu shot".. "Flu Shot or U Shot" should be their motto...

In the end.. what was our change? Where is it? maybe he meant that's what the US dollar will compare to other currencies? just pocket change... Change in our Rights? Or the continued lack of them?


PS: I've tried finding an unbiased article on the Al Awlaki killing.. But anything I find is mostly based on "what now?" speculation and talks of impeachment.. As once again the administration is not releasing why the attack happened.

I'm under the impression the reason the attack happened is that he was a fairly high ranking official in Al-Qaeda and he had declared war on the United States. I assume the latter means the government has the right to treat a person as an enemy. Having said that, I'm sort of ambivalent about the whole thing.

There's bigger problems than old Anwar... the guy should've probably been killed anyhow as he would've inevitably be put to death by a military trial if captured. He was free to practice his 1st amendment right in just about any other country, and in this country to some extent. He chose to do it in a war zone and in so doing became an agent of the enemy. But the significance of his death is still majorly over-hyped, as with almost everything to do with Al Qaeda.

The worst "change" we've seen under Obama is a slow undoing of our human rights here at home, which started under the Bush administration (and to some extent in the 80s and 90s).

We see a lot of people here 'murdered' without due process on the 6:00 local news, and we don't think twice about it despite the fact many times it happens under arguably more questionable circumstances.

 

How do we know he's even dead? They reported him killed back in 2009. Fox News and Al Jazeera, among others, reported this. Heck, they can't even show evidence they killed bin Laden.

But yes, this is just more War on Terror propaganda to make people believe we're winning. That's how they get the public to go along with sending their kids (to be killed) and tax money (to kill) over to the Middle East.

And yeah, I believe this was also intended to implant the idea in people's heads that it's alright to assassinate American citizens even suspected of terrorism, without a fair trial. There has been much talk about this in recent years, and it almost seems as if this is a desensitization process to acclimate people to the idea.

As far as Obama.... he is as irrelevant as they come. He takes orders from the same people who will be pulling the strings of the next puppet to take office, just like they pulled the strings of the puppet that preceded him.

To take politics at face value is no better than those who take religion at face value. In fact, politics and religion seem to go hand-in-hand, as few have done more to manipulate the minds of so many people.

For the first two years of his presidency, I think the operative word you might be looking for is 'filibuster'. And our so called liberal party, the Democrats, backed down every time.

I feel I have to align myself with Bernie Sanders - voting with Democrats 98% of the time, but still an independent.

Yea I agree Pressed Rat...presidents are just the face that we trust to lead us the right way. The shepherd for all the sheep. They just follow orders and pose for black and white pictures while trying to look dignified by looking up and to the right with the american flag waving in the background.


I just feel like we have no control over anything anymore. How is it my fault if we fall into a depression or we fell into a recession? I just work my job, buy clothes like a freakin hipster, and smoke medical marijuana when I can.

Does anybody know if it's true that the people who print our money actually 'loan' it to our government and tax us a percentage on every dollar printed? My friend was telling me about that the other day but that didn't make any sense at all...if that would be true then would that mean we'd have to pay them back through virtual currency? He said he saw it in a documentary but he forgot the name. I've looked up websites but they look hella sketch with no citings or anything.

Yes, that is true. The globalist bankers, under the guise of the private Federal Reserve, print the money then loan it to the government AT INTEREST. If the government printed its own money, then why would it charge interest on it? Well, because the government is owned by the Federal Reserve and the families it's comprised of. These people represent an internationalist agenda that is hell bent on bringing the American people (and ultimately the entire world) to its knees, not only financially but morally, spiritually, and just about every other way imaginable, so they can implement their one world currency and eventually one world government. It's not a conspiracy anymore. It's in the open.

The economic problems we see now have been deliberately created, and could be instantly fixed since money and debt isn't real. Money is nothing more than paper and digits entered into a computer, yet the people who control this bogus scam have so much power over the world because people believe money to be real when it's not.

If you want a GOOD book exposing the Fed, look into Eustace Mullins' Secrets of the Federal Reserve. It's one of the oldest books exposing the true workings of the Fed, published in 1952.

 

Do you have any books to recommend from credible authors, as opposed to authors who think the French Revolution among other historical events were really led by secretive Jews who seek to control Christians?

The guy was kind of a nutter and his writings are hardly the stuff any reasonable person should be basing their world view on.

The problem is that wealth has too much power and influence in US society and therefore its governance.

Some people seem to see this and others don’t for some the indoctrination is so deep that they actually support giving even more power and influence to wealth.

There were a lot of people who were cautious about the claims that Obama would change things because if you went passed the rhetoric his policies were not that radical (although ‘socialist’ to some).

Real change will only be possible once the influence of wealth on politics is diminished – but instead the Supreme Court turns around and gives it even greater influence and so I can only see things getting worse.

There are plenty of mainstream writers who have written about the true nature of the Fed, but I haven't read any of them and don't care to because it's old news to me. Mullins' book is pretty much the premier book on the Fed. Because he is critical of Jews isn't any reason for me to find him not credible.

Other than for Mullins' sometimes overtly anti-Jew sentiment, I find there to be nothing in his writings that I would consider to be not credible. Ron Paul has said many of the same things Mullins has about the Fed, so have many other mainstream people.

 

First and foremost, who said anything about lizards or the illuminati? Talk of a one world currency has been mainstream news several times in the past two years, referencing actual terms like "New World Order." Like I said, it's all in the open if you've been paying attention.

Also, when you're the one in control, it's easy to make up your own definition of things. The government does it to silence people all the time, calling them terrorists, anti-government, anti-semitic, anti-American, "conspiracy theorists" etc.

Truth be told, there is not a single conspiratorial thing I said.

Perhaps you need to learn the difference between a theory and someone simply expressing their opinion, which you may or may not happen to agree with.

I am not a fan of President Obama, but I seem to remember the United States declaring war on terrorism soon after 9/11/01. This means we can kill people who are accused of being terrorists without a jury trial and it is an act of war. Somehow I don't think Al Qaeda held trials on all the people who might have been in the twin towers before they killed 2,983 innocent people. Government has the power and the responsibility to keep the people safe, and in my opinion they can use whatever means necessary to do that. So far as I'm concerned, all I have to do to avoid the possibility of being unjustly killed for being a terrorist is to avoid the appearace of being a terrorist. Mostly this would mean not hanging out with known terrorists. Anybody not smart enough to figure that out probably should be prevented from breeding anyway.
