This happened to my friend friday night/ saturday morning. Around 7 his friend picked him up to smoke a few blunts. His friend gave him 3 morphine pills, but said to only take one. My friend gets home around 12 and takes all 3 morphine pills. (supposedly morphine, red pills with red flakes?) He passed out within 25 minutes, and woke 30 minutes after passing out. He couldn't breathe properly, so he grabbed a phone and called 911, but he couldn't speak. 2 firetrucks, 2 cop cars, and an ambulance show up. The sirens woke him up, and he ran outside, tripped on a brick in his yard, and was out cold once again. He woke up around 4 am with a tube down his throat, and charcoal in his stomach. I just thought I would share.

I wonder why the medics just did not shoot him up with Narcan ? Narcan is the best thing in the world for Herion/opiate od's.You come right out of it just like that.Just like they show in trainspotting thats not bull shit one second you are oding the next second you are wide awake and not high at all. The only fucking side effects are if you have a habbit it takes all the opiates out of your system and you get dope sick real real fast after words and its so dam expensive the 2 times I got hit with it when I ODed it was like $2000 on the bill for the shot-DAM.And morphine is not that weak at all, maybe its weak to a Herion addict or a perosn who is doing mad amounuts of pills every day and is use to thee opiates but to the average person who only using opiates ounce in a while it will kick there ass pretty hard. Morphine is a hell of alot stronger when used IV also thats when a patient in pain gets the real pain killing effects from it or a peros using it can really feel the high. I would rather have amp of liquid morphine then most other hard opiate pills out there. Also was it straight morphine pills he oded on or was it ms contin or some other kind of morphine sulfate pill he took ? It makes no sence really at all to say morphine is weak every dam opiate we take from the bottom of the list to hardest shit like shitty Tylenol with codiene to the most bad ass Herion turns into morphine in the brain. Thats what we feel when the opiate hits us the morphine hitting our opiate receptors. Its just how much morphine hits our receptors and how fast it does is the difference between different types of opiates. Codeine just turns into alot less morphine then Herion does in the brain. Its simple one drug makes more morphine then the other.
Now you see why I am always preaching to you little bastards on hear to be careful when fucking around with opiates and mixing them with other drugs !!!! Its dangerous shit man. Its no bull shit When used worng opiates are like playing fucking russian roulette !!!!!! I am just so dam glad to hear the kid is alright, I hope this taught him a lesson ??? I wish my first od had it took a few more until I got smart with opiates and dope !!!
How the hell does a person oding ruin it for anyone else taking opiates ? I don't understand your logic at all thousands OD every week on opiates what does that have to do with the way you use them ????I don't know maybe your parents think its alright for you to use and abuse opiates and its only when someone OD's that they look down upon and it ruins it for you ??? Shut up beatnick come on man don't say that shit no one deserves to od and almost die no one at all.All kids and people do stupid shit in life especially when it comes to using drugs. Any one at any time can take a opiate dose and OD from it. Its not like they only kill people who made a mistake and are stupid.All you can hope is this kid learns a lesson from what happend maybe he will stop fucking around with hard drugs for good or if he keeps using respect how powerful opiates are and start off with a low dose !!! People don't set out to OD every one thinks they are fine and can handle what they just took. The problem is 9/10 its a little to late after you took the shit and now know it was a big ass mistake. The problem is like I have said 100 times on hear before is when you are young you don't ever think anything bad will ever happen to you, you have a sence of invincibility and think Death is only something that happens to others and is so far off. I just wish young kids and all people would think before they take a large dose or amount of opiates especially if they are not use to them or don't take them very much to get high. They have no fucking idea how much they can handle or what it takes for them to feel nice and high. I will say this again the worst thing a perosn can do when taking opiates and this has to do with every one I don't care if you do 3 bundles of Herion a day and have habbit that half of Afghanistan could not handle is mix other downers with opiates, When you go out and mix other downers like Benzo's,Sedatives,drinking etc with opiates you are just asking to OD.Those blunts that kid smoked did not help matters at all eather. Hey if you are a big opiate user or have been using them for some time and you know your limits there is nothing wrong with smoking a little weed but if you are not use to opiates and have no tolerance at all and you smoke a few blunts you are just adding to the percentages that something will happen and go wrong.Its so fucking simple go back and look at all the OD post on hear and even at the 3 times I overdosed in my life, Its usally becasue a person mixes opiates with other downers or other drugs or they take some big ass dose they are not use to using. About 3/4 of od's form Herion/opiates has another drug that comes into play usally a downer. The other 25% of the time is when someone gets clean then goes back to usng and thinks they can still do a hell of alot at one time and handle as much as they did before they stopped. Just be smart and remember what you are taking. Its not like weed where you can sit down in one night and keep using it and using it and smoke a OZ and be alright to many young kids base all drugs on the way weed is I have seen that alot. The worst that will happen with weed is you fall asleep with opiates sure your ass is going to fall asleep but the problem is you don't wake up !!!!!!!!

Piney I was thinking the same exact thing. If it happend in his home town you know his parents are going to find out also if they did not already. It his paretns and family did not know he used before hand well they know now.
I'm really wondering about what mg those pills were, because Red's are almost always 30. And 90mg certainly can make you sick, but I don't think you'll OD, especially without rubbing off the coating at least. It's time release! Hell, even with no tolerance I had to take at least 60mg to get a decent buzz. I'll bet that he took one, didn't feel shit and then popped the rest. Then freaked out when it started to kick in? Or he might have taken something completely different. Edit- 25 minutes? I really doubt that was morphine...
It was his first time with opiates, and I am going by what he told me. It probably felt like 25 minutes, but it could have been an hour. He is fucking dumb, and I hope he learned a lesson.
