What do you all present as offerings to the gods/goddesses? And, Do you think certain deities require certain offerings?

The thread about Animal sacrifice inspired this question.

I'll offer food and drink after a ritual, though if I was going to do any specific work with a God then would go with what they wanted.

Yes, I think so. Depending on what they represent or just have as preferences. I'd try to cater for that, seems thoughtful really.

There are many answers to this, and none at all on some parts.

Yes..it depends on the deity as to what to offer....

Recently, I cut my beard off in sacrifice to my gods to get
the job i just started...as a Forest Ranger...My beard meant the
world to me, and I had sworn not to ever cut length from it, but
this was important enough to merit such a thing.

Saturday night, we offered animal fat, bones and ribs up as
a burnt offering to the gods of Earth and Underworld....

Sometimes I offer tobacco and smoke to the spirits of
    a forest...or music..

    depends on the moment.

I have never offered blood...and it depends on who I am addressing at that time...usually it is food or drink....

Another question, somewhat directed toward heron...

do you usually call certain deities by name or general terms like "the gods of Earth and Underworld" as you said ?

Its just my curiousity, because I know no other pagans in real life.

if i'm aware of a particular deity's preference of offering then i'll try and use it

the list of things one can offer is limitless - it really depends on the energy and symbolism of the offering, what i would like to give or achieve, etc.

food and drink is always the best "default" choice, for we are offering sustenance to the Gods as they provide for us

to comment on your other question - if i am working on/with very particular aspects that seem to ascribe to a particular deity, i will use their name(s).....if it's more a general working i'll use general terms
