This is kinda just interesting to me. I would like to find ONE....just ONE person who didn't like the movie Office Space and they have to have a good, legitimate reason. I don't think anyone could dislike that movie. Anyone who did like it can post too. Peace P.S. - True story. My mother works for the government of Canada. Last time I went in to work with her She asked me to get her a binder out of the supply room. To my amazement at the back of the room guess what I found. 5 boxes of RED streamline staplers. And yes, of course I took one.....and one for my brother
I don't like it. I think that it's an average movie at best. The humor may be memorable, yet it's rather weak and cheesy is a rather American way. The acting is exaggerated and forced, while the characters are dumb... which is why so many people can relate to them. I've never seen what was the big deal with this movie... especially the printer smashing scene... it's trite as fuck.
Yes, I actually own a sledgehammer. I'm a professional smasher. I just think that the scene was not only poorly shot and acted, but also rather predictable and unnecessarily staged. It feels like they've tried to make it epic but failed miserably.
P.S - I forgot to add in the original post. Answers will only be accepted by people who aren't bitter opinionated assholes who have a plethora of knowledge considering they never leave the house.
mmm....yeah....I am gonna neeeed you to come into work on saturrrday..yeah It reminds me of my 9th grade science teacher.
No, I throw feces with my hands. Plus I am from South. we dont take to kindly to all that book learnin...
i think office space is great, i love that movie. it kinda destroyed my work ethic for quite a while though lol, i quit quite a few jobs because of that movie.
The movie is popular with down-trodden sacks of shit who have down-trodden shit jobs because it shows one of their kind getting a glimmer of hope. there are other people who like it, but if you have the capacity to see beyond the horizon of shit job after shit job, it's not this heroic wonderful movie that office drones slaver over. it's just not special.
okay well apparently I didn't make myself clear the first time. I'm really not interested in the opinions of introverted virgins........so save your fingers fellas......this thread ain't for you.....carry on everybody else.
