*no pun. anyway, Well, I think I can feel the crawlies around one part of my head, every once in a while I will feel something move (the part of hair below my left ear..or below behind) At first I thought I was just imagining it, but I found fleas on my dog. I treated her with flea shampoo... HELP ME. My hair is only dredlets....coming up on a month old. I dont have an infestation, hell, I dont know if I have any, but I want to make sure I dont. So, my hair is still loosey goosey and new. I guess that is a good thing? or could that be a bad thing for this? Not sure. I just to make sure my hair is bug free.
Well, I am probably freaking out just because I found them on my duggie, And just the thought is...icky. I just want to make sure I dont have any problems, My family would never shut up about it. The 'I told you so's would be non stop....
If you're worried do an avc wash or is it acv.. apple cider vinegar soak your dreads in it and leave it for a bit, the fleas, if there are any in there, will die and fall out ^^
Strange times when the thought of dead bugs in your hair is a relief =] A lot of people talk about that,(ACV) and Ive honestly never heard of it. is it something you buy? if so, where? I hear nothing but great things about it, it is probably worth a try regardless.
You could have lice, in which case put paprika in your hair for four hours and then use Apple cider vinegar and condition with herbal rosemary Tea. DO NOT GET PAPRIKA IN YOUR EYES. Also, fleas can't live on humans, only lice.
well, the only reason I would think is is fleas is because for one, they arent spreading in my hair. it is the same little crawlie in one spot on my head for..about a week. and another reason is my dog has fleas. I have been working at it to get those bastards off of my beloved little duggie, and in doing so Im sure one got caught up in the mess on my head.. I will try the ACV thing for sure, as well as a mix of others.
You know, it just be some hair that's fallen out, and by "fallen out" I mean the hair you would've normally brushed out on a day to day basis...it could be tickling the side of your head and shit. Which can simulate the feeling of itty bitty creatures having a picnic and making happy time on your scalp.
I havent brushed my hair in.......years? I only always wore it up, so it had no change to dread. Well, I do have a monster one at the base of my neck from years of not brushing.....
ever seen a scanner darkly? remember the guy at the beggining? (cant remember his name) thats what you probably have
The hair you shed naturally doesn't JUSt come out from/or when brushing(just comes out more in the brush ,or condition in the shower instead of being stuck in tangles) When you are dreading your hair the hair you'd shed gets stuck(and could tickle , I guess?) instead.
Now that was a GREAT movie indeed...... SOoo underated, it is definatley one of the top 30 best underated movies of all time..:cheers2: Oh, and to the OP, dont you have sand fleas in Florida? I bet thats what they are..
I wonder possibly a combo of the 2, and is currently going on with the OP, that would not be fun... dreadlocksftw is very wise for his age, when he stated that "put paprika in your hair for four hours and then use Apple cider vinegar and condition with herbal rosemary Tea" I bet that will get rid of any of thoes pesky unwelcome guests..
I doubt sand fleas would be on her head tho.. unless she recently went to the beach, those don't jump high, and then they would be more like painful mosquito bites than itchies/crawlies.
dreadlockftw if that shiz works you've totally soothed my mind! lice totally creep me out and I dread getting them and having to deal with them. but if your lil potion works I'll be v.happywhere did you hear of it?
