    Right, time for opinions people.
Before I go on, yes I agree they are talented and can write songs, but...
Trivium. WHAT are they doing?? Over the past couple of months they've been on Scuzz and they've completely changed from their old style (which I was never a fan of anyway) to a complete Metallica rip off with guitar solos that sound like they've been robbed straight from an old Iron Maiden record. They are bringing nothing new to Metal (although they claim to be redefining the genre) but situation is this. HOW can Matt Heafy think he can pull this new style of singing off which has James Hetfield printed all over it? I don't understand why people are buying something that has been done before (but better) and keeping this band's ego growing. They don't sound distinctive because they are simply robbing other band's styles and whacking them together and the end product is cheese.

To me, it's just cheese, pure and simply. What do you think??

I absolutely loved Trivium's old music. Although their new album the vocals kill it for me. Even though the guitar work is awesome.

Good riffs, not much of a fan otherwise. Atleast they're ripping a good style.

Yeah I agree they've gone to garbage. Ascendancy was okay, but past that I can't stand them.

The only song I ever really could stand by them was the one that goes something like, "Time will always be FREE! The thing that kills me.... truely", just because of the fact that it was so catchy. The rest of that album sucked.

Now, this fucking 'Crusade' is just a piece of shit. They now want to sound like early Metallica. Now, I know I'm going to get bashed by all the metalheads here by saying this, but WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU WANT TO SOUND LIKE METALLICA ANYWYAY? I mean seriously - they suck. Enough said. And this goes for both bands

Exactly. Bashed by Metalheads? I doubt it. I like Metal bands that have a distinctive sound, and obviously earlier bands will influence music of today - but Trivium are simply reproducing.
