Did anyone here watch bushes news conference a couple nights ago? Total bullshit. Did anyone count how many times he talked about his new "magic coal"? I counted over 10. His plans for reducing dependence on foriegn oil were wonderfull. Magic coal, nuclear powerplants which is great to have when you country is a target of a terrorist group. Not once did i hear anything about hybrid cars, or solar or wind power. This country is on the decline. How about his answer for when we can get out of iraq, "as soon as we can" or something along those lines. Thats all it is with him, such general answers. I'm not even smart and i can see how bad a president he is. And the way he carrys on about it too, it like it some wonderfull vacation for him, or like some big joke. I can just see him in his room at night saying something along the lines of "Heheh im president saweeeet" We have another 4 years of this bullshit. And then who do we have to look foward too after that, His brother Jeb? Uhg i getting chills just thinking about it.
presidents never answer any real questions... if they ever get answered a real tough question, they simply dont answer it and change the subject. I just hope people realize that its not just bush who is so fucked up... we cant trust any of these presidents... they are all fucked up.
Chances of getting a straight answer to a straight question from: a politician= 1/1,000,000 a fundalmentalist christian=1/1,000,000 what's 1,000,000 x 1,000,000? Oh yeah,--never
what is the big problem with nuclear power? it is by far the most efficient power source known to man besides fusion. His energy plan included tax breaks for hibrid vehicles and alternitive energy sources. Solar and wind power are much more envirnmentaly friendly but it would be entirely impractible to run our country on with our current energy useage
I wish that the Government would recognize the usefulness of bio-diesel fuel. I recall Bush saying, "We need more bio-diesel!", and then doing jack shit about it afterwards. Bio-Diesel emitting far less carbon into the atmosphere, while lowering it initally with growing plants, and even cannabis/hemp. Then to top it off, running it on a normal diesel engine, with little or no alterations. That sounds efficient enough for me.
What is wrong with nuclear energy?!Oh my god, please do some research.I don't have time to go into all the dangers and things wrong with it.Educate yourself! ~No Nukes & No Wars !
bush is having us fight for oil as a diversion. the oil based economy is headed for a meltdown we are approaching peak oil. there is no viable option to radical restructuring. the corporation is taking over the gov't. corporations are for the most part authoritarian so expect martial law. there will be social upheaval and class warfare. the ugly specter of racism will be a tragic diversion. it is not going to be pretty or fair. make sure you know who your friends are and take responsibility for each other's welfare.
I'd support nuclear energy if: Waste could be reused didn't have the problem of human error. somebody needs to work out the math before we start running on it.
