I have lived in the states for exactly a year, today.

In some ways it seems like SO much longer, but then it seems like time has FLOWN by

American, but I lived in England for 13 years.
But legally, yes, I am American.

My mum just told me that I have residency over in England tho
I could go live there til 2009 and then get my residency renewed.
But I doubt that will happen

And no Hugh, I prefer to live somewhere that speaks English

I had a (white) english speaking friend who lived in the Carribbean....And another whose dad was a Trinidadian from the colonial era....

I lived in the county of Norfolk a LITTLE town called Thetford (aka, the London overspill ) about an hour from Great Yarmouth, 2 from London. It was an alright place I suppose, quite small, but I liked it
