The cops are under a lot of pressure to show they are serious about enforcing the law. In this area, they really wish they were doing something else. With all the crap going on in the world, REAL cops don't have the time to be chasing after copyright pirates. This kind of action is more a result of lobby groups putting pressure on certain individuals than any real concern of governments themselves. They got to make a show once and a while, and this kind of tactic is not beyond them. Take one site down, ten more will pop up to replace it. Be patient. The internet has a way of building around the damage. x
