well i dont think he was using it as "whats up ******?" or however you use it (i am hoping thats the way you use it, since you do use it). he was making a political statement. the civil rights movement was to go from there being "niggers" to their being blacks, who are equal. he was pointing out that its time to have the women move on to their equal status too... I really doubt you're using the word like that. and I really think the way he used it (though the word disgusts me) is still "hippie" cause of the message behind it.

its an ugly offensive word, so why use it? do you also say "chink" and "cracker"?

Yep but my use of it comes from the word uncle cracker ( the singer) and the rest is a long long story.

And actually the only times ive ever used the term ****** is when I had a gun to ones head or was ready to bash one.......cause you know, no ****** is going for some cracker calling them a straight out ******......and not do somthing about it.......but thats even a longer story.
