4 yrs + organic chemistry.

But even after that its EXTREMELY hard to get ergot.

 

I know some people that made it when they were in high school. I dont think you need to go to college to make lsd. Do a quick google search and Ill bet you could find a few recipes for it, I dont know hoe accurate they are tho.

Yeah, Organic Chemistry is the degree if you want any sort of knowledge pertaining to the creation and synthesis of LSD. What I did, I bought a 200 dollar Organic Chemistry text book. I'm still currently trying to read it all but I don't think you'd want to go into a organic chemistry class in collage just so you'd know how to make LSD. Of course if you got money laying around your house, by all means go to Whitman College or something.

Though, if you don't take the class you'll never be able to get the chemicals yourself. Thats why connections are so important. You should do what I do, get the textbook, learn as much as you can about the subject then all you need is to know someone who has a chemist licence and your in business. Good luck.

LOL to someone who said its hard to get ergot alkoloids. In this day and age nothing is hard. You can get ergot from grinding up wheat grass and doing chemical processes to get the LSysergic acid amide which is used as the base in the first synthesis. Shit, you can just grind up morning glory seeds which you can get at any floral shop.

you wouldn't even really need a formal education. You'd need DEDICATION.

All the information you could ever need are online. But you couldn't just go and start making LSD, even after you've "learned" everything. You'd need to practice extractions, lab procedure, learn entirely new sets of vocabulary... You'd need a good space to do it in...like a silo maybe (haha). An education would aid immensly in your pursuit of this...My flamingo and I talked about it a few times, and he decided that it would be best to start with basic, easy applications of knowledge through experiments.

You'd then need to somehow obtain all the precursor chemicals (not necessarily lysergic acid, or even ergot...there are ways to synthesize them...SWIM can try to dig up some sources if interested) without alerting any of the special authorities, and even then you'd be in for a hell of a ride, and if anything didn't go to plan your entire experiment would go tits up.

And 4 years of Organic Chem would be awful. Try getting through the first semester (my other pet flamingo is Pre-med, and he did ORGO this summer....wow, was he overwhelmed, and he's a smart guy.). EDIT: Sorry to the second poster...I read your post as 4years of Organic Chemistry...whoops.

HAHA thats mean, but you know... totally true. If a person wanted to make LSD the easiest way would be to go to college, get a degree in organic chem, then get a job in the field, then set up many shadow companies to get the precursors and divert small portions for illegal use.

There is no easy way to make LSD and if you try to do it and you arent a REAL professional about it, you will very likely KILL yourself of course you also know that you will undoubtedly scramble your brain forever even if you do it perfectly.

If you want to make acid, be a chemist, then kiss your 100k+/year job goodbye.

It isn't that complicated of a formula. There are only 4 elements involved in it, and they are Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, and Oxygen. These are not rare elements. It isn't that complicated, especially since I know for a fact that she made some and continues to do so today. It's your choice whether you believe me or not, but its true.

Oh Christ, most things are made up of Carbon, Oxygen, Hydrogen, and Nitrogen.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the complexity of the synthesis.

 

She never really explained it to me in depth. She said she made it at home because her mom is a bigtime hippy and allows it (encourages it, in fact). I know that she had it because she was selling it for a while and still offers to make some for me and my friends. I never actually saw how she did it, however it wouldn't hurt to check out any recipes that exist online. If I talk to her anytime soon, I'll post the exact way of how she did it.
