old Mtv cartoon/weird cartoons

i love The Maxx & and Aeon Flux,mtv use to have realy good cartoons, who here is also a fan and what other shows do you like, or other shows i might like that are similar

 

I think Beavis and Butthead is MTV's all time great show. That show really took on a culture.

 

I know it is not a cartoon, but does anyone remember The State on MTV? It was a sketch comedy type show. I dont think it lasted too long, but I have been trying to find it on tape or DVD.

 

I'd agree with you there, I know it isnt on MTV or anything but I worship Spongebob Squarepants

 

Sifl and Oly were cartoony enough to qualify... THE greatest show of all time...


and yeah, a weird show was Fox Kids' "Clutter"... it was about this kid who's best friend was a pile of dirty laundry, and whenever an adult would walk in on the middle of their crazy antics, the pile of dirty laundry (dubbed Clutter) would stop moving, and the authority figure would say "AND CLEAN UP THAT CLUTTER!". every god damn time.

but fox kids went to hell after they transitioned to "fox box" and then something like TV for Kids that they have now..

 

The weirdest cartoon but also one of the best has goota be Cow and Chicken. The parents were a pair of legs who gave birth to a Cow and a Chicken???? How screwed up is that but its great and so very very funny

Beavis and Butthead rocked!!!! and still do on MTV2..... Aeon Flux and The Maxx were cool too... same with The Brothers Grunt.... or The Oddities.... how about liquid Television... which was the show beavis and butthead and Aeon Flux first appeared on...

 

does anybody remember daria? i'm convinced that was the GREATEST mtv show ever.
i loved that show, i laughed my ass off the entire time.

 

Daria was good but it god old after a while. Beavis and Butthead were awesome!

I have to say that Sifl and Oly rocked mroe than any other old show!

beavis and butthead were so amazing, but daria is like one of my all time favorite shows.

did anyone ever see rocko's modern life?
i'm not sure if it was an mtv cartoon... but it was amazing.
kind of along the lines of ren and stimpy... another amazing show.

 

rocko is an old Nicktoon. It was my favorite show.

 

I love The Maxx, I have the movie around here somewhere. Soo disturbing.

 

Alas...someone else who has heard of The State....most of them are on that Reno 911 thing on comedy central..

maxx has a moive i remeber the TV show i got eps 1-13 i never knew there was a moive, i dont remember how many maxx eps there where wish i had them all on DVD.the maxx is my favortie comic book ever

 

It was like a movie of all the episodes. You could probably find it at like amazon.com or somewhere.

 

3rd South. I think it was on MTV, maybe VH1. Animated, bout these two college freshman. I thought they were halarious but apparently I was the only one .

 

I thought 3 South was pretty funny, too. The recent short-lived animated MTV shows amused me. I loved Clone High...I miss that show. And I didn't have MTV until I was 14 and it was already going downhill, so I missed out on the Beavis and Butthead craze (although I have downloaded a few episodes...shhhh) and Daria. Offbeat cartoons are the best, hence why I always stay up watching Adult Swim on Cartoon Network.

 

they still show Daria on the super weird Canadian channel "the Noggin" at like 2 or 3 am, I catch it sometimes.

Aeon Flux was cool when it was on Liquid TV, but when they made it it's own show the animation changed and it didn't seem as interesting.


Anyone remember "Dr. Katz?" I loved that show and had a crush on the animated secretary.
