that's funny; recently i've developed an enormous love of olives and everytime i go to the market i have to buy a container of lovely fresh black olives. heaven on earth, indeed. sophia

I don't like olives, although my only experience lately involved me buying a jar of dirty old olives from old man Lidyl. Needless to say, that would influence my opinion. D'oh.
I love olives, the green ones especially. The crappy ones in jars aren't all that crappy either, the stuffed olives are sublime....
My fave ones are black, but green are ok if very fresh... The only ones I aren't too keen on are those ones that are kinda greeny / reddie black:& They taste weird Koolaid, you really need to give olives a good shot... you'll learn to love them, trust me
