one thing that is really annoying

is people (friends) who dont even attempt to write you back....... I hate the option on m*space that you can see if they read the message you wrote to them, but of course it always seems they read them and never even have the common courtesy to reply. its so fucking annoying. I spend this time acknowledging them and they dont even give me the common decency to even give one reply.

 

Courtesy is anything but common.

depends on the email. If it's one of those "hey thanks for the add" or "zomg ur totallly teh hawtness" then naw, I won't bother replying. Real emails with conversation points I can reply to do indeed get a reply, assuming I have time for 'em.

Some folks are simply a lost cause though. One of my myspace buddies hasnt' replied to my note in a while and probably won't for a while longer.

 

Perhaps, they are just thinking about what to write or maybe they didn't have the time to reply @ the time they read it?
But yeah, it does suck when you never get a reply.

 

I cant stand that either, but then again i dont go and write many people.

I didn't like when I would send out messages to people on that site but they didn't send anything back. Ever. It's like, why did you ask to be my friend on there if we're not going to talk? Ever? Psshhh, the heck with that, time to clean house.

exactly!!!!!!!!! I dont know why people ask to be your friend on there...... you send messages, and they just read them and dont reply. its stupid. how can you keep in touch when they dont take the time to at least reply.

I don't always reply, but hell somethings you can't really reply to.

 

awe): I don't even write my best friend back most of the time. she gets free airtime on her cell phone on sundays and has a san diego area code still so that's the day we are supossed to talk...she reminds me every weekend and I always forget to call. I saw my friend dj on saturday and forgot to call him and thank him for hooking everything up...I am a really flakey friend.
Some people are horrible at writting back or returning phone calls but it doesn't mean they don't care. I care about my friends so much but most of the time come on the internet to get away from obligations and thinking I have to write somone or call them frankly stresses me the fuck out even though I totally love them to pieces.
