on august 28th 2007 i will have been totally barefoot one year. no shoes no socks no sandels no rings no anything at all. i can't wait till i'm like some here.. that have been barefoot for 17, 25 or more years. I'M CATCHING UP!
thanks y'all! yes i still have a pair of sandals. i found them in the move. they're on the bottom of the shoe box now. maybe i should donate them, they're still in great shape.
Well, the day has arrived... Happy barefoot anniversary, Boogabah!! arty: And may you be able to be barefoot 24/7 for more years to come. I managed to be barefoot all year round for about 2 and a half years, living a bit outside of Babylon, before my current job required me to wear some footwear... I still remember the happy barefoot days with a smile, and take off my flip-flops (that's what I wear in the milder seasons at work) under the desk at work. Congratulations indeed! I find myself in a mix of feelings, when reading about your total loss of sh*$s... first, of course, happiness about another person finding her way to total and uncompromised barefooting, but secondly, I have to admit, a very small tinge of envy, since I am still in that situation, that the job superiors require my wearing those things for mostly representative reasons. When considering the occasional frosty day over here, there sometimes is a practical reason for covering my feet to some extent - and be it only with a protective coat of bag balm. So, together with almost-frosty air touching my toes tonight when coming home from the late shift, your post made my barefoot day. Enjoy your barefoot life. ~*Ganesha*~
good for you, hopefully one day i can join you. unfortunately unless i win the lottery, that damn work thing will cause me to wear shoes.
exactly.. work. since i still don't have a normal job i can be barefoot.. but that may every well be coming to an end soon!
