Hey! I live in Ontario Canada, around Toronto. Even if you don't live in Ontario... or Canada for that matter, you should have heard of Toronto. Anyways, just wondering if anyone else is around the same region as I am.

You'd be suprised how much the rest of Canada, especially the West, hates Ontario and in particular Toronto.

Hahaah, say what, we "should have heard of Toronto"? That's cute. Name three cities in Saskatchewan without looking them up  teasing, teasing.

yeah but aren't you from the prairies as well? Not quite so self-centred as the average Torontonian

    ...

Most Torontonians are of non-white anglo-saxon descent. Can you blame them?

i could name a bunch of cities in ontario, but seeing as how i've never been to the prairie provinces (though i do plan on passing through them) i don't see why it would make me self-centered to not know. i wish i knew more cities if it's of any consolation lol

I like BC fine, thanks. hehe. My boyfriend just went back to Toronto (where he grew up) and he said that he didn't remember it that dirty, but that it also looked just like it did when he used to live there, so it must have been. He said that once he visited Toronto and surrounding area, he realized how much he actually loved Victoria (he was always going on in Victoria about how he missed Toronto).

That's so bizarre... although I've known that for a while. I've visited a few cities in the west, and even though I live way out from the city I say I'm from Toronto, and I've gotten a few bad looks...

I totally have nothing against TO or Ontario in general. I do however have something against the 9674 threads asking "anyone from Ontario????". Seriously? Everyone in Ontario spontaniously combusted last night.

But... We *are* the most populated province... 30% of Canada's total population lives in southern ontario alone. :uhoh2:

    It's sorta shitty.

Oh, I totally get that Ontario is the most populated province. Thats why the "anyone from Ontario" threads bug me. OF COURSE THERE IS SOMEONE FROM ONTARIO HERE... but do we really need 4978 threads about it? Can't there just be a freaking sticky or something?

    well
I hate this province, where I usually chill is hamilton...cant figure out why, after a few weeks of roaming around the city myhealth fades I start to get nausious after only walking a few blocks

I grew up on a farm in Picton ontario...a little cleaner, though now thge smog from toronto hovers over prince edward county like big ass blob of black

    BUT

the monies here, I can work for 6 months here in my field, get a job extremely quickly, I got an 18 hr job started working within teh first six days of returning to canada, since the first when I returned home I sent out 5 resumes, I have had a job offer from each one I sent out.....

I cant get that in BC

I cant get that in the prairies, quebec or eastern provinces....

so I put up with the terrible smell, the lack of culture other than the trendy hippies and the metro sexual wonder freaks....

there is nothing interesting here......the cops bug me driving around in my bus...Im surrounded by thugs and government agencies effecting each level off my existance....I think im gonna burst....

wow didnt realise I was that sick of this place .....and Ive only been here since the first!!!!
