Ok, so I know there are tons of threads about this, but all of them are really fragmented and I cant find the exact info I am looking for, so bear with me. I followed acga5's very accurate and useful guide on how to take a brew of pod tea and turn it into a thick, brown, gooey substance which in a day or so of drying should be smokeable. however, although I have read all about HOW to smoke opium, I have no way to do so effectively, and am worried that if I try to heat my tar over a candle in a spoon and try to inhale the fumes with a straw will just end up as a useless disaster. I read that if i dry my goo on cig papers that i can then shred up the papers (once dried) into flakes and load those into a regular pipe/bong and toke up: is this true, or will that just waste most of the active alkaloids? anyone tried this? right now I just have a fan going to dry out my pod-opium-goo but I should probably try putting it on some papers soon if I am going to do so. So, if this cig paper shit is a bad idea, then what IS a relatively easy and effective way for me to smoke the tar I will end up with tomorrow after drying it out? thanks for the help everyone, and a nod to acga5 for his helpful guide. -V
Just smear it on a nug of weed and load it into a bowl. Smoke it lightly, though; try to avoid a direct flame.

Thanks everyone. I used a foil spoon, worked out ok, but I won't make anymore tarry-opium-residue-shit until I have a vape or a real opium pipe. Not worth the effort, although I got a petty cool rush of the small amount I smoked the other day. -V
