Howdy Folks!

Here are the directions to the Oregon Regional Harvest fest
Rainbow Gathering. From Medford Oregon head west on E Main St
toward OR-99/N Riverside Ave

4.0?mi, turn left at OR-238 9.3?mi
this puts you in Ruch. This has a very friendly little grocery that will be
your last chance for groceries before getting to the gathering so stock up and
be friendly to them as well. No loitering at the store and no spare changing or
shoplifting here please!! We have a good working relationship with these folks
and would like to keep it so. They will have further directions if you lose
these.Next head to Mckee Bridge. Head south on Upper Applegate Rd
toward Whispering Pines Ln

4.4?mi then a slight right to stay on Upper
Applegate Rd 4.3?mi. There is a little store here but they are not
rainbow friendly. There is a bathroom in the park across from the store but no
overnight parking here so if you have made it this far, come on home, don?t
hang out here. We had some problems with some Drainbows that got stuck here a
couple of yrs ago that left a bad taste in a few peoples mouths so I will
reiterate, do not hang out here!! From Mckee bridge keep going straight until
you hit Beaver Creek road on the left. Turn left at Beaver Creek Rd
which becomes NFD 20 Rd/Siskiyou Summit Rd

Continue to follow NFD 20 Rd for 10.8?mi there will be
a slight left to stay on NFD 20 Rd for another 3.3?mi then NFD
20 Rd turns slightly left and becomes NFD 2025 Rd

2.0?mi then a slight right to stay on NFD
2025 Rd 0.7?mi turn right at Rogue River National Forest 300
75?ft. there will be rocks and markers to mark this turn as it is the
second five point that you will encounter. There is a little island there, kind
of a turn around. Follow the markers for a short distance. Welcome Home!! We

and can be rainy this time of year here so be prepared with rain gear and extra
blankets and tarps, etc. Please bring water, food to share , good vibes, and be
kind to your dogs and leave them at home. We will be gathering from Oct 26th
to? Nov 10th. We love you !

p.s. How man oregon regionals are there in one year? (mostly retorical) I may never leave...

 

Oh, how I very much want to be there! I will, it's only three and some hours, though we'll see for how long... depends on if they fire me at this job or not.

 

I'm hoping the sis who sent out the howdy folks will post directions from the south. But I know how those mountains are. "You can't get there from here".

 

awww... that's my neck of the woods out in oregon, river is my old neighbor... That lil' store you mentioned before is the mckee bridge restaurant... and yeah I was there when said drainbows parked there... owners are mos-def NOT rainbow friendly... haha.. and if you've made it that far the gathering is only a lil' bit further down the road.... rainbow gatherings are actually encouraged by the park rangers out there.... Well anyone heading out there tell the ruch/applegate folks **esp. ally/sam/azur/ward/bridget/jazzy jess/etc..Amber says what's up?? There are some AWESOME camping spots out there... we camped out in nat. forest by o'brien creek for the better part of a summer.
