I've been reading alot of book by Larry Niven, and in one sci fi series he did he theorized that as more and more organ and bodily parts could be transplanted, it would have a major affect on morals. Is it right to take organs from criminals condemned to death? If so, is it right to enforce the death penalty for lesser crimes, like stealing, or even lesser crimes, like traffic violations?

So far it hasn't happened, but if technology got so good that a steady supply of fresh organs could make someone immortal, would opinions change? would speeding become fatal?

im sorry, but that makes no sense to me. Being put to death for a traffic violation? what the fuck? and only take organs from people who consent it. I recently got my permit and said id be a donor, but who the fuck would want my organs?
