There's lots of help and information around. If you have specific questions, this may be the best place to ask. For compost information try: Google or http://howtocompost.org/phpBB2/index.php For general info try: http://www.organicdownunder.com/ http://www.greenharvest.com.au/links/links.htm http://directory.google.com/Top/Home/Gardens/Specialized_Techniques/Organic/Cultural_Information/
NAMASTE Must say great links. Was lookingaround to help her but seem you sent her to the spots that can help her and others alike.
To "eccofarmer": NAMASTE Sir, you honor me. Thank you most kindly. May the bugs in your garden eat only the weeds. To "moonlightshaddow": I am very glad to help. I believe you will find all organic gardeners/farmers will help. I must also say that the shaddow cast by moonlight is one of my favorite things.
Have you got a a new copy of Yates Garden Guide? Even though it is not specifically organic, it is probably the best book for complete beginners. The most important thing is to get the soil right! So many poeople dote over their plants but ignore the soil.If you do not get the soil right , you will never get anything else right! BTW do you ever read Grass Roots magazine.I occasionally write a few articles for them here and there. Unless you have access to free manures, it is best to use something like Charlie Carp or blood & bone.Ccharlie carp is very environmentally friendly product. What kind of soil do you have?
