My confession for the day:
I think Oriental guys are hot IMO. Especially if they're caucasian/oriental hybrids! I really am the aesthetic-guy type .

I just watched House of Flying Daggers... and the main character oriental guy was hot! The chick was pretty hot too... but the dude was hotter. By the way that is an excellent movie.

 

He has always been a favorite of mine. Apparently he is dubbed as the Johnny Depp of the Japan film industry.

 

I don't get why this is in True Confessions, it should be in Random Thoughts unless of course you feel bad about it.... are you racist?

I disagree, a confession is simply admitting that which you have previously hidden.

 

But why would you hide something, unless you thought it was in some way unacceptable?
And if she thought being attracted to asians was unacceptable, does that not sound slightly like racism?

well I may have been mistaken but her confession fits definition Number 3.

I'll define the 2nd grade level up

avowal - admission
doctorines - a rule or principle of law
faith - a set of principles or beliefs usaully religous, but always un-provable at least at the time (not exact wording of Webster's definition)
creed - a sytem of beliefs, principles, or opinions

So it basically defines a confession as:
An admission of agreeing with a particular un-provable set of principles or beliefs.

Her confession has nothing to do with faith therefore right away it doesn't fit 4.

 

I cannot prove nor disprove the belief that she finds asian men attractive.
