I speak english fluently(obviously), but believe it or not german was the first language i learned. Now I can speak parts of german, spanish, and japanese, but none of them very good, and spanish is the only other language i can somewhat read.. Sometime this year I am going to start learning more spanish and japanese, and if i get homeschooled this year, thatll most likely happen before christmas.

english is my first language, and french, more specifically Quebecois, is my second, I'm also partially of a french-canadian heritage. I'm still working on the french though it's only been the past year or so that I've been serious about learning it. Spanish is next on the list.

Apart from English I can speak.....

    German
I got a GCSE in this, so I can read write and speak quite a bit. Of course that was over two years ago, so it's a little rusty.
    French
Had to study it for three years, and went to France a lot as a child. So I know enough to get by.
    Italian
I've been there on holiday for the last two weeks, so I picked up a few words and phrases. My parents love Italy are going to take evening classes to learn the language.
    Russian
Well only a few words, picked up from random sources. Just from studying aspects of Russia (Cold war, royal family etc)
