Ouija Board

Hey I'm 14 and I've had my Ouija board for almost a year now. I love playing it and finding out answers. I know some are gonna bash me for using it but I love the mystery and persona behind the mystic use of the board. I do have a few Q's. ok my first one is my grand-father said u sell ur soul to the devil when u use it. Secondly am I going to go to hell just for using it? I mean for the past few years I've been studying Wicca but I still have a little bit of worry from old beliefs. I just want to know the answers b/c I am worried. I see it as a fun and intresting device and is mysterious and I love the board.

 

Never believed in the "power" of thes BOARD GAMES.

nah, you don't "sell your soul" by using a ouija, but you can run the risk of leaving yourself wide open to anything that might drift by and want to mess with you

if you are already studying wicca, just be sure to bone up on your psychic protection and use it whenever you sit down with your board.....and never speak with a spirit that won't give you its name, as it usually means they're up to no good

I've been told that everytime you use the ouija board that you are getting evil spirits. I don't know the truth in this, because I've talked to people who seem to be legit. about who they say they are, but always this could a misrepresetation. Also, I'm positive that if a bad spirit connects with you they are going to come out everytime you get on a board. I can't get on one anymore without a certain person either just being completely chaotic, blocking any actual communication that I might have had with someone that I would have wanted to talk to, or he tells me things like "die bitch" and whatnot. Also, I'm positive that I've contaminated a house with evil from a ouija board before, not in a long time, but it has happened.

 

when you use the board, you open the door between spirts and us. You can get nice spirits as well, but also bad ones. What do you really get out of using a Ouija board? Do the spirits give you answers to questions you may not otherwise know? Or do you just like the mystery and suspense of it all?

 

this is true - not only can you get benevolent spirits/beings, but you can get mean and nasty ones as well - this is why it is always recommended that you ask the spirits name and refuse to communicate with it if it will not tell you (if you know someone's name, you have power over them whenever you speak it, the theory goes) if you encounter an annoying spirit and do know its name, either ask it to leave, or ask if there is someone else you can speak to

until you build a rapport with one particular spirit/being/entity, it is wise to take the information they give you with a grain of salt - entities in other dimensions are no different than people, some may not have all the information right, some may just want to mess with ya

it is also possible to connect with higher aspects of self through use of the ouija, and sometimes you can even connect with another living person's subconscious, although they will most likely be unaware of it

and as far as badfish's experience goes - always start with psychic protection before using a ouija or opening any sort of psychic channel, 'nuff said.

 

OK I know this is a bit off-topic but... what about pendulum dowsing? Does that involve spirits, cos I've heard people say it's just your subconscious picking up the aura from objects around you. Is it safe?

I've tried using Ouija boards before but my I think my friend was moving it purposely, and I don't want to try it alone because I think I'll screw up and contaminate the house. So I guess that's not an option

even if you work solely with a pendulum, over time, you'll be able to hear or see information before the pendulum gives an answer

no harm in using a ouija alone, but as with any divination or magickal working, it is advised to first use a bit of psychic protection before you begin

I'm sorry but I dont condone ouiji boards. Devil and Hell are irrelevent since they dont exist. Ouji boards are evil, you are inviting any spirit to communicate and most of the time they are malevolent and not the kind you'd like to deal with. Please consider this warning, and leave the ouiji board alone.

 

I highly doubt that Ouija boards hold any kind of power of their own, but I still never had a desire to fuck with anything spiritual with a malicious intent. Chances are, if you do so, you're just going to get it back anyway. Do what you will.

 

what would psychic protection consit of?
Its been years since I've used a Ouija Board but I never used any kind of psychic protection, how would I protect myself?

 

Read out from "Revelations" as you play with it.

That would be more than enough protection.

 

there are several different methods of psychic protection; a quick search on the 'net should give you plenty of info to pick and choose from, but the most basic form of protection is to visualize yourself surrounded by white or golden light before you begin

and as i've said before, don't waste your time with any spirit or entity that will not give its name to you, as they're always up to no good

Are we talking about the "Milton-Bradly" version here? Does yours glow in the dark like mine did when I was 13? Seriously, people. Those things are a sham, they have felt on the bottom, anyone could move them without the other person knowing.


I don't believe you can sell your soul to the devil, I just don't think something you can buy at Toys R Us sould be taken so seriously.

No matter what it is your talking bout "playing" around with, practice some common sense. If dont know exactly what you're dealing with, take the time to learn a little first. Would you take the controls on a plane and try to fly it without bothering to research it before hand?
