its so beautiful!!! ive never even seen this series of VW before...

I traveled the states for a bit in a 73 camper van that we painted all psychedelic before we left. some of my fondest memories are of "Gomer". good luck and well wishes!

 

hahah it's no VW, it's a Hanomag Henschel from '73. It's bigger than a VW.

 

haha so am i safe to assume its like a VW`s brother? looks just like our bus from the backside view. you guys are so amazing!!!

 

hahah, well they are alike from the outside. It's just that the hanomag is wider and higher and a lot cheaper

those little vw's are cool too, this one's a bit bigger, like wider and higher not much longer I guess.

 

just curious..about how much have you invested into this car??

Ehm we bought it for 1200 euro, but i really don't know how much we invested.. maybe another 1000?

 

Love it! Many years back we bought an old orange Ford Transit mini-bus and turned it into a camper. We called it the Orange Alert ( husband was a devotee of The Prisoner TV series ) and it enabled us to take our dogs everywhere with us. Great fun!
