Outfoxed is an excellent expose of the Fox News Corp. and Rupert Murdock's ongoing conspiracy with the Bush administration to mislead America & the world.

Through interviews with former employees of Fox News (and there are many who are very willing to speak out, including former news executives), Outfoxed uncovers the unscrupulous policies and media collusion with the white house.

It details the methods used to attack liberals and the Democratic party. Fox news is unrelenting in these attacks, and it seems regardless of the news story, it usually ends up being a liberal bashing session.

It shows how Fox news was able to shape public opinion about the Bush elections, the war on terror and the war on Iraq by being incredibly biased towards Bush and hostile towards Kerry and other Democratic candidates.

And it does all this under the guise of Fair and Balanced news reporting. In fact Fox news often asserts how fair they're being, when in reality this is far from the truth.

All Rupert Murdock's media companies (he has over 100 cable TV stations, 70 normal TV stations, I think over 100 newspapers and much more) are forced to follow the same propaganda order every day, apparently decided by Murdock himself. So if Bush is in trouble, there might be a command to go light on the story or ignore it completely!

That level of coordinated message thru so many outlets simultaneous actually creates "virtual truths" that are only supported by repetition and ubiquity, not facts.

Hitler's media man, Gobbels, would've shit his pants to have this kind of control over such a huge audience. Murdock's media companies reach over 2 billion people! Murdock's properties never swerve from the strict Republican line. so there is unprecendented control over the minds of the masses.

There is no way to limit this one man's power because the bigger he gets, the fewer remain with the balls to challenge him.

Did you know Murdock shut down the BBC broadcasts to China? Yup! Seems he and the communists leaders both didn't like BBC coverage (like the Tianamen Square Uprising). And of course the BBC's problems with the Blair government is a Murdock operation to weaken the BBC so his own networks can reach more Brits.

Fox news does unforgivable damage to journalism and the media itself. Murdock is such a huge threat to freedom of speech and free elections, I'm amazed the man hasn't been arrested as a threat to democracy.

Someone Murdock is always a key player in fascist countries. And the fact that Murdock's influence goes beyond just one country to dozens means the truth becomes just that much harder for a good portion of the world to figure out.

    Don't miss this movie!

(Excuse me if this has already been discussed, I couldn't find a thread)

I saw an interview with Dennis Potter a few years ago not long before he died in which he referred to his cancer as his "Rupert". He then went on to say,
"If I had the time I would shoot the bugger, for there is not one individual more responsable for the pollution of what was already a fairly polluted press".
