What does it mean? It means that there are two sides to every side given -- ALWAYS!! If you are outside the dialectic, then you understand this. If not, you are more prone to the us vs. them, black vs. white, left vs. right mentality. Those who understand the dialectic know that almost nothing that happens on a massive scale (outside of maybe certain natural disasters) happens without being planned to happen. While our leaders may sometimes seems like illiterate stooges, they are just faces for the public's consuption. However, the people behind these men, who pull their puppet strings, are some of the brightest men in the world. They don't make mistakes. When they make a "mistake" it was more likely than not planned that way for a reason. The dialectic is the mechanism through which this world is run and the people are controlled, duped into accepting things they would not if they knew what was really going on. In a sense, it is the mechanism through which people feed into their own enslavement by not understanding the mechanism. If you do not understand the dialectic, then you cannot possibly understand world events and the reason for them happening. You also cannot bring about a real change by accepting solutions that only give the people who create these problems in the first place more power. The Hegelian Dialectic is: Thesis + Antithesis = Synthesis The Hegelian dialectic applies to war, politics, banking, education, media, religion, business... Everything under the sun that exists within this system you may or may not accept at face value. In summation: The dialectic is two apperent "sides" (force vs. counter-force) pitted up against one another to meet a desired outcome. These sides are always controlled in a top-down manner, unbeknownst to those who accept the consensus reality dictated by media and the public education system as the ultimate truth. Out of this orchestrated conflict comes the desired/planned synthesis or outcome. Let's say you want to create a world currency. Well, first you must create the belief that the national currency can or will no longer work. So you create the crisis to break the current system, resulting in a global crisis/depression that affects BILLIONS of people. Out of this chaos will ensue. This chaos is planned because this chaos is required to bring about the necessary outcome. This chaos will resort in extreme suffering and anxiety among the people. What the people normally would never have accepted is gladly accepted when presented as the solution to the misery they are suffering, which was created for this reason. Suddenly a global currency does not sound so bad. If you want to promulgate the idea that we need a world government to end all wars, well then you must create these wars and control both sides to create the desired outcome. The two world wars, like all wars, were based on an us vs. them scenario. The people never knew that these wars were engineered and that both sides were controlled by the few at the top for an outcome not mentioned in the history books. The outcome of the first world war was the League of Nations. This was the precursor to the United Nations, which resulted from the second world war and was designed to be the trojan horse for one world government (and thus a promise to end all war and poverty). In reality, a world government would result only in a war against the whole of humanity, and the impoverishment and enslavement of all who do not lick the boots of their global masters. Today, the dialectic is being used on all fronts to consolidate power through consensus. If people do not understand where the problems emerge from and for what reason, then how can they possibly change things for the better? They will only further the problem by playing into the dialectic, accepting the "solutions" offered to them as a cure to the problems that were created to make them accept this cure which is really poison.
Did you mean the Thermidorian REACTION, perhaps? http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/591497/Thermidorian-Reaction/591497rellinks/Related-Links Seems like we've been in that sitch, already...
Or more prone to the conspiracy theory vs. everything else theory? Its all very nice Rat but its ridiculous. If there were no conspiracy, would peoples of the world live in perfect harmony and would the economy be a utopia of material blessings for all people at all times? No Most people aren't gullible enough to fall for such facile, circular logic. Conspiracy theorists need to start thinking for themselves, and breaking out of the infinite loop of programmed circular logic they have been indoctrinated to follow.
I'm talking about failed revolutions and the rise and fall of rebellions that are replaced by the status quo throughout history. like, ZOMG.
The dialectic as it applies to the global conspiracy has been cited in many scholarly works. Something is not circular logic because you say it is, Hip.
There are also a number of scholars who reject the Hegelian Dialectic as valid proof of a global conspiracy.
I mean, it's kind of a stagnant and one-dimensional theory to describe world history and historical events. It's a tunnel vision approach to historiographical analysis. It doesn't even explain how; it presupposes why and then explains how. It hypothesizes nothing but the incurred hypothesis. It is circular logic. And if you've taken a logic course or two, you'd be able to prove that.
Things are not true because you say they are either. Yet you repeat your statements of faith ad nauseum and are constantly frustrated that we won't accept what you do not question. One day, if you break out of your cult like thinking, you will realise that your conspiracy theory seems convincing to you is because it is built on a loop of self reinforcing circular logic. Any evidence that appears to contradict the conspiracy theory has obviously been placed there by the conspirators to fool you. Hence, no evidence against the conspiracy can exist. Let me give you an example. You think the conspirators created the Fed so they could control the money supply and they are using it to create artificial crises to herd us into an all controlling government. But there were crises before the Fed, and when that is pointed out to you you calmly explain that the conspirators created those crises too, to convince us we needed the Fed. This makes perfect logical sense to you, so you feel quite confident saying it. You don't realise it, but all you are doing is applying circular logic. It can't be disproven that the Fed creates crises because you simply create more conspiracy theory logic loops to explain away all crises before the Fed. Hence there is no conceivable evidence which could prove your theory wrong, since if it existed you could just dismiss it as false evidence created by the conspirators. You are doing this subconsciously, so instead of becoming increasingly suspicious about how this theory seems to have an answer for anything, you become increasingly amazed at how the conspiracy theory explains everything, always, just like how some people think that once they know Jesus, suddenly they understand how He has His ways and everything is part of His vision. Once you're in the loop, logic fails. Look at your Hegelian dialectic - its the ultimate infinite loop of logic. If there was a conspiracy, wouldn't they make things happen? Yes! Does stuff happen? Yes - proof there is a conspiracy! Suddenly pretty much anything anywhere fits the conspiracy theory logic - something most people would find a little bit too convenient. The best part is that once you have completely fallen for it, suddenly you don't need to read the conspiracy websites any more. Its very easy to find the conspiracy everywhere you look, all by yourself. In fact, you can start considering yourself a scholar! Did something bad happen? Well the conspirators would want bad things to happen, so they can fool you into thinking you need their help. Therefore the conspirators made the bad thing happen! Another triumph of research and analysis.
The same people behind capitalism funded the rise of communism. This can be proven by documented historical record (though has been suppressed by the mainstream history books). The same people who financed the Nazis finanaced the communists. This can be proven by documented historical record (though has been suppressed by the mainstream history books). How many times in recent history has the West sought to topple totalitarian governments they played a key role in helping to establish, either through funding, training, supplying of weapons, or otherwise? Today, the left and right are controlled by the same corporate interests, their members belonging to the same elite NGOs. This is proveable fact. It's the same story throughout history. And frankly, I couldn't care less what you think about anything, so please spare me your opinion.
... Some people just don't like to hear the truth I guess, and they would rather believe a lie. I am sorry you feel that way about my views. I'm sure my views only make you care about your own that much more, though. Good luck with that. I hope it makes you satisfied.
I could not care less what you will or won't accept. Why should I care about convincing Rush Limbaugh's clone about anything? I am just sick of being trolled by people speaking from a part of their body not made for communication and putting me down for what I believe. Stop reading my fucking threads if you don't like it! The post below has nothing substantive worth debating. No facts or counterpoints, so I am not going to waste my time refuting your attacks against me. You wasted a lot of bandwidth saying nothing.
Ari? WTF, over? Y'all didn't like us in the Political forum, and segregated us off into this Conspiracy forum, and now you come in HERE, to bait the members and troll the threads??? i hate to tell you this, but i don't really give a rat's banana about your "views" ~ You manage to come off as an arrogant, surly little sister, who, as a Moderator, is abusive of your authority, your position and the forum's supporters. Why don't you just go away?
^^^ Good thread rat. These people don't see that they are doing exactly what you are talking about. There is no use trying to fight someone elses programming.
Y'all didn't like us in the Politics Forum?!?!?... Oh good grief. I belong in this forum just as much as you do Fyrenza, so cut out the dramatics. And if you feel that I abuse my position and other forumers then perhaps you need to approach me sometime instead of making off the cuff remarks about how 'everyone' was corralled here or how all y'all were 'segregated'. If I have attacked you in any way, and not the issues that you present, then I apologize. Many of you said and chose to boycott the Politics Forum and made that very clear that you would be using other areas of the Forum to branch out and expand your ideas. Some even make motions to further these sentiments off and away from these very Forums. You seem to be one of the last few, Fyrenza, who has a sour taste left in your mouth about the whole thing and want me to "just go away". I think you are partially right. I spent too much time browsing all the areas of this Forum that some of you posters have been frequenting. But it wasn't with intentions to troll. I am a lighthearted person, a goof and full of piss and vinegar who likes discussions that are familiar and in depth to me. For this reason, among the fact that I have expressed that conspiracies have a place at the table of political theory, is the reason why I wanted to see those discussions with familiar persons continue here on this site. For myself personally, because contrary to what sometimes you might think of me Fyrenza, I have an open mind to what others advocate. It is in my view, necessary that you feel welcomed somewhere always here on the Forums, and if that means that you prefer it in here, then maybe it's time that I should take my own discussions elsewhere on the site.
