Hey fellow canadians, just heard the news that Oxy will no longer be manufactured for sale in Canada, instead OxyNeo will be the replacement, which looks like it will be unabusable.... This is a very sad day, Oxy was my favorite drug... Can anybody suggest a drug similair to the high I can be on the lookout for... Besides H, not in my area... . Any help is appreciated.
Well, there's Opana, which is somewhat stronger than Oxy. I'm not sure if they're available in Canada though. Actually, they must be rare in my part of the country, because I've never even seen one. There are Oxy's all over around here, and even Fentanyl, but I've never seen or heard of anyone selling Opana's.
Not 100% sure but I believe Opana's are only sold in the US. Where I'm at fentanyl isn't too popular either. And methdone just doesn't do it for me.
Ok. Well, there's a way to make the new Oxy's snortable. I've never tried it, so I don't personally know if it works, but I've seen this method mentioned quite a few times on the web, and they say it works. Here's a link: http://www.topix.com/forum/drug/oxycontin/TH55RSHFFBVACGDR7
the new hydrocodone pills, I remember there being a 30mg hydro with only filler added, IR so easily used in any way the doc can suggest and recommend.. should be a close second for that oxy feel, not the same but every opiate is different more or less, but a lot of similiar effects overall.. Opana and Morphine are great pain killers too, work amazing.
30mg hydro's with no NSAIDS included? I've never heard of anything like that, except maybe from a compounding pharmacy. It sounds cool though.
I take that back, I have heard of it. Zohydro, a timed-release version which you take once per day or so.
Yea I'm glad my tolerance isn't crazy so it's not like the oxy switch is gunna kill me I VERY RARELY IF EVER find oxy so the switch isn't that big a deal to me. But on another site I checked ppl were coming apart at the seems because they went to fill got the new ones and BAM now your in WDs.
yea they mentioned on the cover of the paper yesterday, how clinics are now full of people going through withdraws. i also was talking to a girl who lives in a native reserve, and she said practically the whole reserve is going through wd.
the provincial health plan doesn't cover the new ones, so anyone on disability/welfare is probably in withdrawals. at least, that's how i understand the situation.
It sounded like that guy was saying when people went from OC to OP they went into withdrawals. That would only happen if those people were used to snorting or banging their pills.
Well no shit that's what I ment. Not all ppl are like me and happydude and HAVE to take stuff or else were in a ton of pain. Believe it or not millions of ppl abuse there medications but some of those ppl are still chronic pain patients. If you were used to crushing it up before taking it then thats technically abuse but that doesn't mean that it didnt treat your pain more effectively so yea some ppl do some don't. I just ment anybody in general who was doing anything besides just eating them on the regular is prolly not real happy right now.
Sometimes I crush mine up too. Partly because I get more of an effect at once, and partly for faster pain relief. Yeah, I enjoy the euphoric effects in addition to the analgesic properties. If those are types of abuse then I'm guilty. Face it, if aspirin worked this well for pain and there were no euphoric effects we wouldn't be talking about it on Hip Forums. As to the Oxy situation in Canada, I don't see why the national health program wouldn't cover the new Oxy's, unless they were outlandishly expensive. And I don't see how the switch would cause people to go into withdrawal, they just won't be able to snort it. Unless they use the microwave/freezer method.
