it is reality, because it exists. it just has a strict time limit dictated by the physical limitations of your grey matter. this may one day be remedied by manipulation of stuff by intelligence; ie, technology.
There are many methods to cut-up and poke holes through the thin film of "reality". So how real and obtainable is it, then?
ah but the rave is ancient and will be around long after civilization dies raves are derived from orgies and bonfire dances and things like that, i think. a need to share elusive subjective experience with other entities that have elusive subjective experience . . . to dissolve boundaries and pay homage to sacred forces i've actually never been to one
i agree and i disagree. i have orgies and bonfire dances. but i certainly don't go to raves i'm more about the naturals these days.
I used to go raving a way lot back when I lived in DR. I've never been to one in any other place but there, so I dont know how they compare. I would always describe raves as a very ritualistic experience. Dancing and altering one's mind to connect with the gods or something like that haha I really really really love dancing and I think it's one of the things that allows me to be really in the now. I remember the first time I went to one, I was 17 and it was in this underground cave (it's an actual cave that they have made into a club), I was completely sober the whole night, but felt extremely ecstatic. I was definitely experiencing the greatest contact high I've ever felt, but I discovered that there might not be anything "spiritual" about dancing non-stop for 8 hours, but it's like a cleansing process and you leave feeling refreshed, but maybe that's just me. I havent been to a rave since summer 07 and we dont even call them raves back home, they're just parties.
yeah i imagine they are cathartic at the least i'd also love to take part in an orgy, hah and the future holds many things aura
