well..in shows and stuff like that they say that a 'parallel universe' is a universe co-existing with our own that is backwards. like..if you flip a coin and it comes up heads then in the parallel universe it would be tails.

but the definition of parallel is two lines that go on without ever meeting at any point.

so wouldn't a parallel universe just be a universe exactly as our own that would have the same things in it, and exist in the same way. which would explain why sometimes we do things without thinking..

these are the things i think about when i'm stoned and alone

thats something to think about. i guess since the universe's are said to be parallel and never meant to meet, we'll never know. but it is weird, thinking about how maybe fucking lightyears away, mirroring our world over here. thats almost nightmare material. just think about all the messed up shit that would go on. would we breathe water and drown in air? hrm. freaky.

well like i said, man, a parallel universe is supposidly backwards, but if it were truley parallel it would be the exact same..

...so could there also be a reversed universe were when we jump we go lower? or breathe water? or we see black and white but pictures are in color?

i think spiraling universe would be more apt. where a different reality sprials off from every decision or flip of the coin...

Parallel universes can be anything from carbon copies of our reality to complete opposites. I think it's more important to find proof of one.

why is it important? not like it'd do us any good to prove or disprove it.

i agree, proving it is not going to do anything. people will just make more movies about it. and like we really need more sci-fi, lol

when i actually thought of this shit i was totally stoned, and then when i fell asleep i had a dream that i went to an opposite universe, and believe me, it was EXTREMELY FUCKED!!!!

te key to being really interesting is to learn to be the sort of person who thinks of this shit when not stoned. lol. cheaper, too.

Why does the other universe have to be parrallel? Can't it just be an alternate?

i like the quote in your signature. "all hatred stems from lack of understanding". makes perfect sense. i apply that to racist people. theyre just not understanding how we are all humans. they dont understand how everyone is different, reguardless of race. i HATE racist people, yet i fully understand them, which is confusing. since i understand them, i hate them. i also hate how most racist people like to speak for their entire race. like, on jerry springer there's this white woman who was saying "we hate you blacks. you always steal our men." 'we' and 'our'. i cannot stand that bullshit. even if its a one vs one argument or dispute, its not surprising to hear a racist try and speak for their whole race. they clearly think that theyre speaking for everyone and since we share the same color, we'll take up for them. HAH. totally stupid. i hate racism, ignorance, and homophobia. i think all of their hatred stems for misunderstanding, yeah. but my hatred towards them comes from full understandment. i fully understand the reasons they claim to hate the people they do (disliking people DIFFERENT than them...wow.) which gives me so much more room and power to loathe at their stupidity and narrow minds. ok. sorry! /end of random off topic rant idea that i had from just looking at your sig.

    Thankyou :)
The quote means a lot to me and I haven't had any pent up hate sinse I developed my understanding of it.
When you say you hate the racist people and understand them, do you understand how they could be so ignorant of everyone being equal and believing colour matters, do you understand how they can let themselves be racist?
You have to understand the very root of it, understanding ignorance isn't easy though. I get very pissed off with ignorance at times but, I remind myself of the quote and then think about the reasons behind what pisses me off, such as the persons upbringing, views forced on them etc and realise it often is something they are not aware of.
I truely believe if everyone shared their knowledge and understanding while keeping an open mind to everything they hear, there would be peace.
