Parents refuse to get Perscription Medication

..For me.

I've been sick since monday morning (It's thursday now). It's only been getting worse, and I stayed home both Tuesday and Wednesday. My mother refuses to get my perscription of penicyllin.

There was an outbreak of a new viral-bacterial infection going around since it 'escaped' the local hospital. It's something like the flue and tonsilitis.

The doctor says my throat, ears, nose, and lungs are fine, but I know for a fact my throat is almost too sore to swallow spit, and i have aches and cramps like a cold. He told me to take the penicyllin if I wasn't ok after a day or 2.

It's now been 3 days, and my mother refuses to beleive I'm sick because I don't have a high fever, but judging from how I feel, and the fact that I can't swallow, and am pale as a sheet, I am.

Anyway, long thread short, how do I get my medication if my mom has the perscription, wont get it filled out, and wont give it to me?

take the prescription from her and either go out and fill it yourself (if you can drive or its in walking distance) or have a friend(s parent) fill it for you with you along.

 

sounds like you need to put the lamp closer to the thermometer next time
