if you're going to any festivals between now and late july and have room to pick up one more for the ride i'd love to go! keep me in mind if something comes up much love, TP
I go out to the water bowl in Muncie, IN a few times a month each summer. What part of Ohio are you in?
columbus! i haven't heard much about the water bowl but im definitely game for the trip.. call me an adventurer, but i am not alone
Water Bowl is like a 100 acre piece of land with ponds and stuff all throughout it. They hold a lot of good fests there every summer. Very good group of people frequent there. I'm from cincinnati and it's about a 2 hour drive for me. I love going there though. You can look the Water Bowl up on facebook if you want info.

I'm from Cinci as well, attended Stik Nite at the Water Bowl last fall. Mainly just to see Glostik Willy. Cold and windy but I had a great time. Nice bunch of kids too. I missed the recent show there. I found out about those shows from hanging out with Glostik Willy at a Phish show in 2010. My favorite semi-local festival is Appalachian Uprising, a bluegrass festival in Scottown OH. I'm going in just a few weeks. It's a small friendly festival, costs about $100 to get in, and that covers 4 days of camping with free firewood. I strongly recommend both festivals, the Uprising being my absolute favorite summer event of any type. http://appalachianuprising.net Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about either.
PS- Don't forget that the All Good Festival is in Columbus this year. I probably won't be able to make it, but who knows...
yeah i'm considering going.. i know the tickets are about $180.. can't decide whether it'll be worth it or not. I'm going to Outside Lands in San Fransisco in August though, they've got a nice line up this year!
