    i was just wondering...

i usually just lay on my bed with the lights off, staring at the ceiling..that's peaceful..no noise at all.
    or
i listen to music that makes me happy...i always can find some peace in music.

Number one way to find peace is to get right with yourself and KNOW that you are living your life according to your own morals and dreams. Find the place in yourself where you know you are "right". And then don't take life too seriously...

peace.... a hard thing to find....
usu in solitude on a beach listening to music of waves...
or in a park with a book i love...
or at home doing nothing but thinking

I find it in each deep connection I get with...anything or anyone! Nature, a good book, a long conversation, good music...ect.

I love when I find it in the couch cushions with a few M&M's. It doesn't get better than that.

But seriously...peace finds me when I least expect it. I take that as my cue to hold on and try to expand and spread the peace.

when i opened this thread i expected it to be like spiritual peace or peace within yourself for a lifetime not just a moment

i found peace in a way that i believe is a buddhist technique

i cut myself off from any negative influence and looked at things in a very optimistic sense
i changed my entire way of life and didn't do things because it was expected, but because i enjoyed it
and i can proudly say that i'm a better person than i was a few years ago

For me, it's pretty much exactly what Knotdirty said as well as through prayer. I have some strange beliefs about stuff, and for me, it's right. That's peace to me.

Whenever I'm listening to music I like, or reading a good book or drawing. Also writing poetry, walking along the beach. Just sitting anywhere and thinking. And obviously when I meditate aswell :p

    ahh...music

one of my favorite things to do(and have been doing for a long time) is to lay down, put my headphones in, start with one cd, and go from there. Usually one song will remind me of another..... I can keep that going for hours. And I always feel rested and renewed after.

but being out in the water gives me more peace--the peace that resounds throughout the other aspects in my life. Let me tell you....there is nothing better than to be sitting on a surfboard, on a calm, glassy day, with dolphins swimming underneath you, and pelicans gliding in front of you, and all your freinds just being in the same groove and positive vibe.............cheering for each other's wave.......im getting weepy

I mostly find peace within music. Either listening, playing, or moving to it....it doesn't matter.

Though I do try to find peace in everything in life that I can, it's not allways there.

Cannabis allways provides a strong substitute when I can't find it anywhere else.
