Pedophile Songs

Sometime around the '60s, LOTS of songs came out about dating really young women. For example, "Young Girl", "Come Back When you Grow Up, Girl", and "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon". Can you guys think of any others?

Well, there's the Who song, "Fiddle About," but that's not about dating a really young woman; it's actually about pedophilia. It's about an uncle molesting his nephew.

Really? I've never thought of the song in that way. I mean, obviously the engine driver seduces the girl, but I never thought of her as being a child. I've always thought of her as being in her 20's or something.

Then again, the girl is referred to more than once as a "little girl." Hmm... interesting. She does have "a man," though, and I don't typically think of little girls as having "a man."

They don't necessarily have to be about a pedophile: just interpretable as being about pedophiles. I'm sorry; I should have clarified.

Yeah, it was written by John, but at Pete's request. The molestation idea was Pete's.

I didn't say I believed it; I just said that I thought that was his defense with the child molestation thing. However, he was found innocent (right?), so you can't automatically assume he really is a pedophile. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. I don't know, and neither do you.

Sure I can. The charge is not guilty, certainly not innocent, and it's a known fact the dude had diddler material on his hard drive.
