Ok, so i came across something really interesting that i had never thought of before. As someone who has a few peircings of her own i found this rather intriguing (I probably spelled that wrong). So you know how you look at an acupuncture map and all those little dots represent all your energy and pressure points and how those little needles that go into those areas affect nerves and understimulate or stimulate certain organs and what not? well its easy for a peircing to go through one of those little points and either be understimulating, overstimulating, or somehow affecting an organ or nerve all the time and you won't even realize it. I have my tounge peirced for one and that is a major lead to your heart... i havent looked at a map yet to see if any of my peircings are in a sensitive area, but i think that makes alot of sense. So i just want to know what everybody else thinks about that.
Good thoughts but I know nothing about it. I would be interested however to hear other peoples thoughts as well....
so you would create a constant stimulation to your organs? i dont know if thats a good idea. i dont know...what if you create a psychological spasm or something?
no web site... i mean im sure there is one somewhere if you want to look for it. But i was talking to this naturpathic holistic doctor and that is what his theory is... i thought it made sense though... read up on acupuncture guys
hmm i dont kno maybe while the piercing is new but after it heals the skin around it changes as do the nerves, because when you get your ear periced the skin where the peircing is now like the skin on your ear lobe when it heals(im just useing ear as an example)
i actually talked to my acupunturist about this and he said ANY peircings on the body are harmful to the natural flow of things
