I am thinking about all the people I had to say goodbye to back in 1997 when the carehome I was in went into liquidation

Seems a long time ago but now it seems like only yesterday.

My cycle ride today. I rode from fucking lewisham to bleeding Erith via Thamespath. Not sure how many miles I did but estimate 12 to 14.

 

How hard it is to write a post when distracted by great tunes. I often lose track, and have to be all, "Wait, what was I saying, ay yes...".

Recent example posting on the office dare thread whilst listening to "Rank" by The Smiths, in particular the song "Cemetry Gates".

 

On my mind at present is having a nice lump of cheese

Worse is when you're in the middle of writing something while listening to music and then discover you've been typing out the lyrics to the song playing without realising it...

 

I can't write an essay whilst listening to music. I tune into the lyrics far too much. With creative writing, it's easier to flow when music is on sometimes....

 

Yep I find it very hard to write with music on, it's impossible to make it today. She could drag me over the rainbow...
