intriguing thoughts. i do not have dreads myself but quite of few of my friends do on here and where i live. i think they are beautiful. i myself just don't have patience. i have tried to before.

whether you agree with calling it a journey or not, coming to a dreadlock devoted section of the forums and acting like a child provoking someone just to get a reaction, more power to you if you need to do such things just to feel alive, though in my opinion its quite sad.

 

i dunno if journey is the word but having dreadlocks kinda is cuz u watch them grow and mature and u have to deal with the idiots while u do so

Thanks for stopping by. Your post was full of images and thoughts that made me realize that maybe my journey so full of falseness and that I'm in fact such a poser hippie. I feel terrible for this. I really regret any posts I made about journeys. Gosh... I'm a fool. This hurts me so much now. I'm supposed to go to a doctor's appointment in an hour, but now I need to go through my posts and erase all the silliness that I put forth. All the dudeness and heightened enlightenment is gone... just vanished. Poof.

I cannot believe how naive I was to pass on peace and life and grooviness just those few that may have needed some extra help while placing their feet to make footsteps, but I just have to sigh. I'm so full of scars now. I hope that they do not ruin the journeys of those paths that i have crossed on this internet and these forums. I mean, I spend everyday wish people great journeys and much happiness, now I see that I have on spirit and that in fact it has been with much soulessness that I have posted. I hope I never offend or upset you again. I mean... you're obviously talking ot me. Gosh... Gee. Sigh. My journey is over.

If it's so obviously lame and stupid then it certainly doesn't need you to point it out.... and if someone is incapable of seeing what is supposed to be so obvious then do you care what they think?

The point is that all these "spiritual journeys" brought on by hair are stupid. My opinion. I have had dreads naturally grown for about 4 years. And I did it because I think they look cool. As do most people who get them.
But they try to sound all mystic and say "I didnt do it for the looks. it's a journey"
