So in the wake of Dr George Tiller's murder via gunshot to his head while attending church three months ago it seems the pro life crowd has found another target to intimidate and perhaps inspire some sociopath to murder.

Introducing, LeRoy Carhart will he be the next victim of some crazed bible thumper with a gun and a mandate direct from god?

The betting pool is now open....

Given the fact that God performed 2,000,000 abortions last year via miscarriage,
the bible-thumpers should be out there targeting the chief exponent of the art

I do not see how a doctor could live with THAT many abortions he's done. There are certain circumstances that abortion can be acceptable.

No wonder dude has a price on his head. Institutions serve an outlet, more like an excuse to many people to commit acts that make him/her/them feel justified.

Better than 60,000 women trying to do it themselves because no doctor will help them out.

i disagree. if someone wants to take the life of a baby, then they should do it themselves and suffer the consequences.

i see why abortionists think that they're right, but i am definately pro-life. but i also would never give an individual a hard time about having an abortion, for the simple fact that it is still probably the most difficult decision one would have to make, and already living with regret, should not be forced to live through ridicule. its the ones that keep getting pregnant and keep having abortions that make me angry, and anger is difficult to stifle. i know someone who has had 3 abortions in a short period of time.

and if god himself takes a baby away, thats his decision, and his decsion to make. not an abortionist's decision.

No one is killing any humans, infants or otherwise...

    "Pro-life" :D

Why is it your concern how may abortions people have, why would one not seem to stir any emotion yet three seems to many?

Next time you see god tell him thanks for that earthquake in Haiti last week,

I definitely respect your opinion, but I definitely consider myself pro-choice. If I were to get pregnant, I would have an abortion. This is not the kind of world I want my baby to grow up in, and it is only getting worse. And it isn't getting worse for no reason. It is getting worse because there are too many people using certain resources. But I definitely think people should be smarter about sex. An abortion is a last resort, not a way to make it acceptable to be unprepared.

I think it is so ridiculous that many of the people who are pro-life are so against proper sex education. I mean, if you will not teach us how to not get pregnant, how can we be expected to be prepared to raise a baby?

i totally agree with this also. sex education should be a priority! whether taught in schools, or by the parents. should definately be a priority.

So they get angry about taking life away, and take a life away. That's a bit stupid of them.

God really does work in mysterious ways. If mysterious meant hypocritical, I mean.

And as for sex education, yeah I agree. But in my country they are thinking of teaching it to like 7-8 year olds, as well as homosexuality- that's even beyond liberal old me.

But yeah, if people aren't taught it at the proper age, you will never learn of contraception. I mean I never needed a manual to operate a woman, by an age I sort of just knew how to. So, keeping sex education out of the school syllabus is actually damaging to the idea of pregnancy and possible abortion.

and i really could never stress this point enough. for those of us that do believe in god, there should always be the understanding that god doesnt want us to kill anyone for any reason. he doesnt want abortionists to die and go to hell, he wants them to be saved and join him in heaven. if you kill him, satan wins regardless.

but thats such a tricky subject.

It's really not that tricky, man should never accidently push fellow man off a bridge, no matter how much he feels God has compelled him to do so. Tis one of the ten commandments, i'm sure of it..

I believe if Christians have to live by a morale code then that's great, but surely they should be setting the example if others fail to see the good in God and their religion.

I appreciate your views, you are practicing Christianity the way everybody should be.

Yeah, it's kind of tough to figure out what age is the right time to teach kids. I think it definitely needs to happen before they begin hitting puberty. But it is hard to say how soon is too soon.

God doesn't like it when a life is taken but He also doesn't like it when others force their beliefs on others and attempt to violate others freedom of choice.

I'm sure some of you have noticed that many pro-lifers are also staunch proponents of the death penalty and support the war.
