i've often heard that if you smoke a small enough amount per week, then there is no permanet physical damage done (lungwise). is this true? and if anyone has links to some research done supporting either way, that'd be kewl too.

ha yea, that's the plan as soon as i can, making milk/butter/cookies/brownies, but every once in a while it'll be nice to take a few bong hits with some friends. also if i'm not at home i'd like to have weed that i don't mind quickly gobbling down if needs be.

eating it would be fun, and i guess better for yer ol' lungs, but honestly, im not that good of a cook and i dont have 1/8ths all the time to be throwin' in the mixin' bowl.

and plus, it is just fun to smoke. but of course, it does damage your lungs, it tis SMOKE. :) but uh, its natural smoke....but so what, it still will hurt.
but, i think, maybe if you quit smoking, your lungs will go back to normal.

hey don't worry about your lungs, your lungs are like the brain in the way that they don't use all of their capacity, so if you damage them they'll start to compromise. unless you smoke a lot...but hey, you don't want to live forever, do ya?

I have never eaten it, and I wanted to try, but my friends all told me that it doesn't work the same way if you eat it? Is this true?

ok. it's smoke, it does damage. but by just breathing the earth's air, your causing damage to your lungs. and the stuff in the air is far more deadly then some weed smoke. if your really worried about it, by a vaporizer. but, cigaretts are far worse then pot, but you see people who have smoked a pack a day their entire lives living to be 90 years old. then again, you see people who smoke a pack a day only living to be 55. you have to keep in mind that almost everything you do does some harm to your body. simply walking grinds away at your joints. going outside exposes your skin to the sun, giving you the chance for genetic mutation, and there by skin cancer. everything is "dangerous". but shit, if your going to go through life being afraid of that sorta stuff, and trying to prevent it, you might as well not have lived at all.

man i ate some brownies once. i mean the one's you're talking about.
the more i ate the hungrier i got and the hungrier i got the more i age until they were all gone and i found myself with the highest buzz i have ever had in my life before or since.

i question the value of such a buzz, there was certainly no enduring gratification from it, but man it was one hell of a buzz while it lasted.

so yes, i can definately say, it damd well works.

this was freshly home grown from a mix of jamacan and panamanian seeds, and had never yet been dried.

and there was almost as much leaf as there was brownie mix.

sounds like it out to have been slimey but it wasn't.
    they tasted wonderful too.

I don't like eating, it's too easy to OD (yes i'm aware no one has died from an overdose, but getting too high is not fun at all.)

sure, smoking is tried and true. You might want to try eating it though, just for the experience. I had a BLAST eating it, and it lasted way longer. If it wasn't such a hassle to bake the stuff, I'd eat it over smoking 9 times out of 10. Don't listen to what others said, as long as you only eat a gram or so, you should be good.

The lungs clean themselves out. The thing you have to worry about with weed is the TEMPERATURE of the smoke... It's very hot and can burn the lungs, which will take the cells longer to regenerate from than normal damage. The best thing you can do, aside from eating it, is using a bong or bubbler so that the smoke is cooler upon entering your lungs.
