i had a bum follow me around for 2hrs today. I was running errands downtown. i come out the bookstore and theres redcoat - "any change?" "sorry man, no change" i really had no change. I cross the street to the bank, use the atm, come out, theres redcoat - but he just watches me. I ride around and put up my flyers that i had to put up, then come back down to the bank street - redcoat spots me and asks me for some change again - im just going into the coffee shop and i make a mistake i say " hey still no change, i wont have any till i come out of here" ( dont say that!). So redcoat WAITS outside the coffe shop for an hour while i read the paper and drink up! as i'm sitting there, in the front window, he cant handle it any more - he comes into the coffee shop and panhandles me in the goddamn store! " hey, do you happen to have that change yet?" ?! i say "DUUUDE! im almost done here." he goes outside, i go outside, and i give the guy 5 bucks. grrr! i think im going to wage a psychic war on the homeless this week.
i dont give change to hobos. you dont have to be homeless here, they don't have to live on the streets and beg for change, they choose to. usually for this reason the homeless here are mentally deranged.
