Personal Identity...

I CANT FIND IT!!! I don't kon who or what i am. I seem to just be living through others lives... I have nothing that really defines me, most people know me as "that chick who hangs around bernie" and i hate it! If there is one thing that i hate in the world it is that i can't see myself as a person or as an indivual. How can you see yourself as anything if you have nothing to define you....?!?

I *think* understand what you are saying. You want something that defines yourself, and not just another "follower". Does that make any sense? You crave individuality, something that is all you.

I know that I am a nurturer, and that is what I find the most joy in being. I feel great peace with that.

You are at an age where there is a lot of confusion, a lot of discovering yet to be done, many experiences to be gone through. Some people feel that they never truly know who they really are and do a lot of soul searching trying to find that person. I think that many times it's not something you even realize until one day when it hits you out of nowhere.

No that made perfect sense. But to be honest im getting sick to bloody death of "ëxperiances". I just wanna live my life in peace but shit keeps on coming back at me and fucking me over.... I relize ofcorse when im an old lady ill look back and wanna go back to the days of being a youthful teen.... but right now all i feel is frustrated and trapped....

 

I'm sorry that you're feeling that way. You know, I have to say that I never once look back and wish I was a teenager again. It was one hell of a ride, and I'm glad it's over. I think being a teenager was probably the worst time of my life to be honest. I wouldn't go back to that for all the money in the world!

 

hey im 16 to and i was at a party last Sunday ( lame R n B) and i realised.......all my friends got greeted before me.......obviously not all my friends were at this party.......but i was like the scraps that were thrown to the girls after my friends.....so.......that kinda makes me feel like shit to.......YOUR NOT ALONE most teenagers feel shit about most things......it will get better however........this didnt help did it

Yeh everything you guys say helps... i dunno it just feels as if i should be doing something else, im not doing anything of any importance or something, my friends dont love me...i dont know...im so confused...i guess its the whole teen thing...
