i posted this in uk arts and crafts too but wondered if i would get any feedback in here.

Side note - its not about THE real peter pan. itsa sad story about drugs and a guy i know.

Its been a LONG time since i wrote a poem. This isnt very good but never mind :)

    Peter Pan never grew
He never learned the hard way.
    Peter pans getting old,
    The poor chap never learnt.

His dusty treasure just mangled his mind
And his play food never nourished
He just enjoyed leading the lost,
    Children of an early grave.

    Peter Pan never grew,
    He never saw things straight.
    Peter Pans getting old
The poor boy's blind to life.

He ran from his past and presants,
Drew power from those he knew.
Never a land could hold all his faces,
And ego pulled his soul away.

    Peter Pan never grew,
But his eyes are weary and old.
    Peter ans getting old,
The poor chap, he hasn't learnt.

I'd love to see it as a song... but not sung in your average song way... kind of disembodied from the poem style. But unfortunatly i cant write music so it will just stay in my head :)

I enjoyed this stanza very much "His dusty treasure just mangled his mind
And his play food never nourished
He just enjoyed leading the lost,
    Children of an early grave."
