do you have proof that she beat a cat to death? or killed any of these animals? you can buy dead mice at pet shops to feed to snakes...any one of these animals could have died in an animal testing laboratory and her art is trying to show that side of things...remember when everybody swore blind that marilyn manson sacrificed chicken and babies at his gigs...and it was all because some daft bastard brought a chicken to a show and let it loose in the mosh pit...not even mansons fault....all of this "she kills animals to put in her artwork" could easily be a publicity thing cooked up by press...or even her own pr company to get people to look at her art... not to add salt to the wounds of any animal lovers here but i think the finger mouse thing is really good...it's grotesqueness made me think about how little people react to images of war and death every day on the 5 o clock news...it is shocking to see...but it's no worse than a lot of things that we all take for granted...i have a funny feeling that the pictures aren't the art...the reaction from people is what she is after...if she did in fact beat a cat to death and slaughter all these innocent animals and you have video proof to show then fair enough i take it back...

you haven't linked to her website... there are lots of comments on matthews link saying that she doesn't practice animal cruelty...i think this is one of those cases where people are just getting hysterical without knowing the full story...assuming things that may or may not be true...like it or not death happens...but so many people just deny it and pretend it doesn't happen and when they are confronted with it they don't know how to react. and again...how do you know that this isn't just a gimmick to get people upset about it...?
i feel like i'm coming across as completely ignorant here...but apart from "she is a murderer we must stop her doing art" and a picture, links to email addresses and a video of some dogs biting each other it was all in german and i couldn't read it... but like i said before...the problem with reading other peoples views of it and not her own personal views is that it may or may not be lies...it could easily be her agent telling press that she kills the animals... and nowhere have i seen anyone say that she beats cats to death...
The point people i think have is killing animals for art.. is not right.. most would just see it as a bit sick, others because of their vegan/vegeterian 'beliefs' see it is wrong/unethical . I could not find her official site ... the link just had the gallerys response ..plust the fact that she does actualy kill the animals, and it is not a stunt.
