i gotta agree, vancouver is a great city

i say this and i havent even gone there yet..i live 4 hours away though, and will be visiting the city shortly..hopefully in the summer i'll be spending a week or 2 in vancouver before i start my trip

i know a lot of people who have been to vancouver, and a lot of people who live there, or have lived there..they all love the city..of course like any other city it has its rough parts (hastings street..)

anyways, i cant wait to go there

 

i believe its about 560 000 residents residing in greater vancouver, but vancouver and its surrounding areas has about 2 million people..its pretty big

there is nothing rough about hastings...

there are about 2-3 blocks where lots of crack heads hang out, and even thats like 4 blocks up from emery's shop

it's so stupid how ppl perceive hastings, it's probably one of vancouvers longerst streets, yet people associate the name with crack heads because like 3 blocks are bad.

 

hastings has been notorious for a lot of drug problems..i suppose a lot of people over exaggerate it though..you can walk through the place during the day and shit, it's just that it's filled with a lot of crackheads and homeless people and stuff..not the best place

edit: just read digital's post..like i said the street is sometimes exaggerated a bit..its mostly east hastings street (?) that is the rough area...the street itself is pretty long
